Just wanted to throw out there for anyone who was wondering, you edit the draw distance via the camera object properties. Select it from the scene selection window (top right by default, where all the objects are listed), then select the 'Data' tab down in the properties window (icon looks like an old school movie camera). From there, edit the 'End' value to increase how far the camera renders
