I live about an hour away from the city (wish I was farther lol). I'd rather have dirt and back roads than busy main roads, but I do what I can.

It's all fun and games until my clutch burns up and I'm down another $25. I'm currently experimenting with my 30 series TC again. I have just installed a smaller TC sprocket, this should greatly reduce the slipping issues I've been having. I hope at least. I also installed some rubber between the engine mounts, and lock washers on the rear sprocket to stop the bolts from coming out. If all goes well, I'll make a video on it. If not, I guess I'll have to do a straight chain and 60 tooth rear sprocket, which will drop my top and cruising speed by 10mph, but will take load off the centrifugal clutch.

Also, I checked your channel and see you also like Ford's panther platform cars; or the Crown Victoria at least. I really like the Town Car and Grand Marquis. I'm going to try to buy one for my first car.

It's like 1.5 full chains put together; you will have to cut the chain for sure; and if you have a BT200X, you can move the rear wheel forwards and back as well to adjust.

Wear a full helmet, and always obey traffic laws. I’ve been pulled over 3 times. Luckily I was given warnings. Just be careful.

The predators use standard size bolts, 5/16″-24 would work. Not metric. If you can’t find the exact length, go for a slightly longer bolt, you can always add washers later. Also please use a lock washer between the shaft bolt and shaft/washer. I see too many videos of bolts coming loose and things breaking.

I recommend buying bolts from your local hardware store. It’s much faster, and easier to see the bolts in person. They sell bolts for predator engines on Amazon but they are usually $6-$10 a piece and with shipping that’s ridiculous for a single bolt.

Np, mine is a 5/16”-24 grade 8 bolt I think. Mine is a little too long, I used washers though.

Yes, the big Coleman bikes all use 420 chain. Depending on what rear sprocket you have will determine the size clutch you need. If it’s the stock 50 tooth rear sprocket it’s probably not good for a 10 tooth clutch, it will burn up pretty fast. I’d get a 60 tooth rear sprocket if you are riding anything else than street.

If you have $50-$60 I would get a max torque brand clutch. If not, I have gotten some Ok clutches from Amazon for around $25.

Yes, Several times actually. The first time a cop was just behind me. I had rode into a neighboring city/town which has much stricter cops. In my town they really don't care too much. He just wanted to follow me home to make sure I wasn't riding anymore; just gave me a warning. The second two times were because a "Karen" called the police on me and my friend. We were riding on the bike trail and she jumped out in front of us with her kid and dog to try to block us. We sped around and nearly avoided her, when we came back to make sure everything was alright, she had called a sheriff. The SHERIFF told us it's ok and that we can ride in the street but not on the paths, Karen was pissed lol, thought we were going to get arrested or something. Later that day, as I was riding home, the same Karen must have called again, and a very rude and unprofessional female OFFICER (not high authority like sheriff) pulled me over. The Karen must have over-exaggerated the story because the officer told it to me like we tried to run them over. The female officer told me I can't ride on "her road' and threatened that she could have me detained and my bike impounded if she "wanted to". When I asked if I should push it home or ride it home she responded with: "Do you really want me to answer that question"?. Then she sped away and skidded her tires, almost running over my foot. I was going to file a report to my village's local police department, but since riding an unregistered, uninsured, motorcycle with no license is pretty illegal, I let it pass. Really it just depends on the day and if the cop is willing to let you off or not. I still ride though, passed many cops lately and they haven't seemed to care. I'm sure they have better things to do lol, especially when I'm following road rules, signaling with hands, and wearing gear.

I would try to really not have more than 2. The more you have, the less strength the chain has, and the more it is likely to come apart. I would just be careful, but if you can try to, only use 2.

@@troyholland3436 The best way to go is a torque converter. You can buy a max torque clutch for $60 or something. But an amazon torque converter costs just the same and will make a world of difference. Higher top speed, no revving RPMs, better torque.

What size is your rear sprocket?

Me as well, but I have noticed that it seems as though the 224 is too powerful for these clutches and they are most of the time trying to engage even while idling.

The large Coleman bikes use 420 chain. This is the one I am currently using. Pro Taper 420MX Premuim Gold Series Chains - Lg. 134 a.co/d/dNVgCIw

Thank you what size is the nut you put in the shaft to lock in the clutch because I also have a predator 224 but I don’t know what nut goes in the shaft so I can keep the clutch in place.

@@WhiskersTheFishyo hi again, I just tested my top speed and I got it to 54mph but there is one really bad thing. The clutch was super hot and the chain kept slipping on the sprocket. Do you know how to fix it or do you know what was wrong and thank you so much.

How many teeth are on your clutch and rear sprocket, and what size tires do you have?

@@WhiskersTheFish the clutch sprocket has 12 teeth and rear is 50 teeth. Also do I think it was smoking because of the chain because the chain was a #40 and the clutch is supposed to have a #35 cause if that’s the problem I am super dumb and wasting your time.

@@RealestateKingThe1 The chains should be the same. 40 chain is larger than 35 chain. What size tires do you have? Is your bike a large mini bike or a classic sized one?

Also it says the clutch is a 35 chain so would I need to get a 35 chain for it and if I did would it fit on my Minibike. And again thank you so much for the help without your help I would’ve been stuck.

So I was thinking about doing that, I would need a 3/4 to 1 inch shaft adapter though, and 40 series, even the cheapest ones, are about $100-$150 on Amazon. I cannot afford that right now. What I just did (like finished 15 minutes ago) was re-installing the 30 series torque converter. Though, this time I put on a 9 tooth TC sprocket. This reduced my gear ratio to a 5.556:1, instead of 4.556:1 with the 40 tooth rear sprocket. I'm hoping this will bring a lot of the load off of the torque converter, and help with the slipping. No you don't need a 40 series for a 224. If your torque converter is destroying belts then there's an alignment issue or you're geared way to high. I run a 30 series TC on a stage 2 20hp+ 440cc big block and no abnormal belt wear has occured because my ratio is something like 11.125 and at its highest around 3.36 which tops me out well over 100 mph and the 30 series is holding up just fine. So if you've got a problem then you're doing something wrong

My TC used to run fine. Started slipping one day, went worse from there. Belt is aligned properly. Gear ratio was always 5:1, always ram 5:1 perfectly fine until recently. I use clutches now. Because my TC doesn’t work.
