I like the living/family room that leads to the backyard. Many modular home plans have it facing the front yard. Also, would like to see modern architecture for outside. Lots of storage too in laundry room and each bathroom.

It's a modular, not a manufactured. It's on a concrete slab and up to building codes of a normal stick built home. They can absolutely stand up to hard weather. Not saying they can stand a tornado because some regular houses can't either.

Modular Homes are not Manufactured Homes they are Off Foundation off Site Built Homes they are the Exact same House you could have Built on Site there Not even any Cheaper when you think Modular think Leggo Building Blocks where Build Different Sizes Blocks then Connect them all together Boom Modular Home.

Modular homes have to meet local building codes as well as federal codes, manufactured homes only have to meet federal codes. But either way it is possible nowadays to get a beautiful, long lasting home. These aren't your daddy's mobiles!
