In this video, I want to give you my opinion on colon cleansing.
There are several different types of colon cleansing:
• Colon hydrotherapy
This is where water goes up the rectum into the large intestine and flushes everything out. This can flush out you’re electrolytes. You may want to take electrolytes after, so you don’t become deficient. You’re also flushing out your friendly bacteria, which would need to be put back in.
• Herbal laxatives
Creates a purging of the material out of the colon
• Colema
This is a combination of an enema and a colonic. The problem is that it’s very temporary. It also flushes out your electrolytes. If you’re already deficient in electrolytes, this can cause dizziness and even affect your heart. The apple juice a person is supposed to drink while doing the colema, can also keep the blood sugars up, preventing ketosis.
Fixing your diet (doing keto) may be the best way to go. Typically, fixing the diet can fix whatever issue caused you to want to do the colon cleansing to begin with. I’m not against colon hydrotherapy as a short-term solution for constipation or other conditions. But, it should be supervised, and the electrolytes and friendly bacteria need to be put back in.
What you can do:
1. Start fasting
2. Decrease inflammation
3. Consume phytonutrients
4. Consume fermented vegetables

I have been trying to inspire my 80-yo priest to get healthy with some better alternative dr,but he doesn't understand that nutrition today is not what it used to be, and that he might have imbalances despite his extremely positive, selfless, youthful and loving outlook. He wants to live to do good in the world rather than living to take care of himself. And he lets his cell-phone stay on all the time, which is not making it better. I feel guilty about him and all other unwise sick ones, despite having done all I can. While sitting up on the net all night instead of sleeping =taking care of myself. But need a little human companionship, even if only indirectly.

As a closed system colon hydrotherapist, I always give a pro biotic immediately after the session to put back the little bit of friendly bacteria that comes out with all the toxins. And I strongly encourage clients to put on the nice big salad they eat an hour later, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to put back the electrolytes lost during the session.

Years ago I got so terribly constipated on low carb. It really gave me anxiety trying it again even though I'd lost alot of weight. After alot of illness I'm now on keto and have never been so regular. It's like my body is finally functioning really well. A healthy gut works so well. I love it. Plus 19kgs down in weight. @@nmerchant79 the low carb I tried was different. It was moderate carbs only and a wait of 3hrs before eating any fats. Then 5hrs wait after fats before any moderate carbs. It worked well for weight loss but I didn't feel healthier. On keto I only eat very low carbs no moderate at all( like beans and lentils) with no time restrictions. Apparently I don't do well on moderate carbs just like higher carb. I think we need to learn what our bodies can tolerate for ourselves. I'm happy I can eat dairy no problem. Some can't.

@@thejollyllama1579 In my experience doing an enemy every few months, say 3-6 is a good way to maintain colon health over a longer period of time, essentially you wanna do at least two every year. I believe it’s important to clean the intestinal walls because they have suffered from years of abuse, consisting of, inflammation, over-saturation, the amount of toxicity in one’s system cannot be ignored. The process of elimination, detoxification and rejuvenation should be on everyone’s to do list. Enemas/ Hydrotherapy are the way to go. I’d stay away from herbal laxatives or colonic remedies of any kind. Your body is mechanical in design, therefore the engineering of one’s digestive system requires practical methods to optimise colon health. Think of it like your pipe system underneath your sink, every so often blockages occur, requiring the need to flush/clear it out allowing the passageway to discharge waste efficiently. Same with your body, some blockages require physical work. I’d also recommend fasting during this period too. Fasting within itself is an internal cleaning exercise, a natural detox, whilst colon cleansing is an external application. Combining the two may provide optimal results when this is practiced with care.

Thank you ! You do not have to drink apple juice by any means to do colon hydro or colema (- but if you want to also cleanse the liver, you can use apple in your green juice if you want or use apple cider vinegar, or unsweetened cranberry which also has malic acid in it) . It's all meant to to be used in conjunction with liquid food for a short time, and in conjunction with a cleansing diet. and i always recommend electrolytes and probiotics of course and do this with a skilled colon hydrotherapist and talk to that person. You are right, you must fix diet with it. I love intermittent fasting and fermented vegetables and I also drink home made fermented cabbage juice daily and it is a great idea too.

@@Medietos sounds like you have tons of emotional trauma built up. I'm so sorry to hear that but yes you have to find a way to release all of that trauma first. Have you ever looked into Emotional Freedom Technique? That would be very helpful with that. Google it. Its very easy to do on yourself but in your case I would try to find a practictioner to do it on you for a while before you start to do it on yourself. Hypnosis might be helpful for that as well and other similar modalities. Acupuncture can also help to release some of that.

What did you do for the Gallbladder cleanse? I think Dr. Berg says it's not really possible to do that, or at least the video of his that I watched most recently says that...just curious bc I really need it!

Another excellent video! Thank you! I have a friend with Crohn's. Can that be cured or helped by fasting or diet? I have suggested turmeric. Does that help? Or would Keto? Thanks again!

Have done several colonics (once/year) and found my brain fog cleared up and I felt great afterwards. Good to know that it is important to take electrolytes and probiotocs when I do one. Next time I will do that!

@@LanaUSA212 In my experience doing an enemy every few months, say 3-6 is a good way to maintain colon health over a longer period of time, essentially you wanna do at least two every year.

Did you only eat or majorly eating vegetables? Because if you are eating less frequently fruits or no fruits that could be problem because fruits ( including nuts ) our primary food . Naturally we don't attract to much veggies can't eat the much raw , initially we have to train our gut to eat more and more veggies otherwise it can cause bloating but fruits never do this problems

people who do enemas often believe that for example, the influenza virus at first multiplies in the colon and then enters the blood with a big army. So they wait until they feel getting a little fever and then flush out the colon and in this do not fall sick with influenza. Of course in the last two years, influenza became very rare.
