Pakistanis dramas are broadcasted in India on ZEE5. I think so the problem with Pakistani films is that they are released only during Eid when Salman Khan has already booked his slots and they are not as good as Pakistani dramas.

I remember the time when I watched movie Race in Nishat cinema, and I agree with Yasir, it was a great experience. The whole cinema was so big and everyone was enjoying the movie like we all know each other. Nishat between Nishat and Capri was that Nishat was AC and Capri had ceiling fans mounted on the walls.

1:00:04 Same goes for the upcoming Balochi feature film DODA. It is a good movie launching on 2nd September at almost every Cinema in Pakistan. The movie was originally shot in Balochi but they are releasing the Urdu dubbed version too.

I have neither watched him in any drama nor I am a fan of Yasir Hussain but by listening to this podcast I realized that he really thinks out of the box in the same way as we the 'youth' thinks about the going on content in the Pakistani drama. I am agreed with each and every point he raised from the lack of production to what people demands to see on TV.

People hate him for speaking truth. yes sometimes he speaks irrelevant. but people don't know how amazing actor he is .. I have watched him 1st time in dareecha he was servant name SHARUKH it was 1st drama of Sonya Hussain too if i am not wrong. plus he is an amazing stage actor I have seen him live. and met him gave him audition for a role. very skillful and full of knowledge and very humble guy.

Yasir Hussain podcast was great- he seemed to be a very genuine and real person, similar to BiLal from Strings. Unlike the one with Fahad Mustafa who was acting as if he is an Oscar winning artist and had a steel rod in his neck. Yasir was v down to earth. Loved it

FYI, I live in Sialkot just 2 km from Allama Iqbal's house, It is well managed and catered by the authorities. Guide boards are placed outside and inside is also well painted and the rooms and items of Iqbal are well preserved with labellings. Yasir I think just passed through it on a closed day.

Yaar yeh logon apne apne bubbles mein hi fase hue hain. Fawad khan was famous in india but this was a certain amount of exaggeration obviously going by jingoism. And aaplogon ka comparison karna hain to seedha Hollywood, GOT, United states, Aamir khan lol. Bhai thoda aukaat mein bhi baat karna chahiye nahito realism nahi rehta.

Talking about movie cinemas. In India, on Tuesday's we have student discount so we get tickets for 99rs. We can even get tickets for 40rs in India. These are out of mall theatres. The theatre will be in front of the mall with a lot of cafes and food trucks around and any/everyone will be there from a taxi driver to school students to hostel-ites and stuff. But affordability is there. In India, if I have 250rs I can go watch a movie for 99rs, come out have a pizza for 39rs from dominos the small size, get a pepsi and dessert. Remaining money was pooled for petrol. This i am talking about in the last week of the month when all the cousins/friends didn't have pocketmoney left but everyone wanted to go out.

100% agreed we do not take care of our artifacts and have not preserved anything. I have also been to Allama Iqbal home in Sialkot and it is run down and broken. What is sad that about 15 years ago there were some items preswrved but seems they sold or got rid of everything. Very sad to see lack of respect.

With all due respect sir fawad Khan did only 3 movies in India and in no movie he was main lead and not a single movie of his cross 100 cr net box office in India which is the beanch mark of a hit or superhit movie Fawad Khan was god for karan johar only for different reasons 😅 Thank you

I think its doable to show 50s in the movies. for example in turkish historical dramas they use cgi graphics to show old buildings and even cities. its not that hard.

It's very funny when pakistan people thinks that India doesn't allow theirs film in cinema. But the truth is india has so many industries apart from Bollywood even they didn't get screen for release. So the reality is pak film is impossible to reach in Indian cinema bcz of very tough competition in the market it has nothing to do with baned system.
