When i wanted join to RAF i watched the entire series. I couldn't help but watch it again. Truly amazing. So proud of the lads that made it. Still gutted about terry not making it as well.

First time I saw this documentary it was 2010 Watching it again in 2020 during corona virus Lockdown.... Nostalgic feeling, remembering all the commandos Orlando Rogers, James Williams, Bertie kerr And obviously the master Chris Terill❤️🙏💪👍

As good a military documentary as you'll see. Really compelling vuewing. It leaves me wondering though how it makes the fellas feel that after all the blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice and death fighting over hilly bits of rock that NATO forces pulled out and within the week the Taliban walked down from the mountians and took over again just as before. Must be sickening.

The interviewer is like "i know you are carrying 10 pounds of weight and out of you'r breath but can you tell me how you are feeling for my camera?"

They would be carrying a hundred pounds in the field and their commanders would still be asking them through their radios how they are getting on. How's that any different?

They take orders from commanders dude they don't chit chat. There is a difference between doctor asking a patient how are you? what is the problem? and an interviewer asking the same to patient.

Praveen Kumar You think commanders don’t chit chat with their men? That’s exactly what commanders do to evaluate their men’s mental state and morale when they are on stag. What was the last time you were actually in the field? Have you ever served as an officer or platoon sergeant?

Yeah, because the Canadian military never did anything. Accidents are one thing, but I'm pretty sure it was next to standard operating procedure for Spetsnaz trainees to die in the process. That could just be hearsay though.

Is it unusual for someone who just graduated training a year ago with what I'd imagine has very limited war time experience, if any, to train recruits? Seems weird. I think I would want some 30+ year old with multiple deployments to train me. I'm not throwing any shade, I'm just honestly, curious.

These young men are amazing. BUT I had a really hard time, as the series progressed, not to look and say, "Oh Lord, these guys are beautiful..." I especially like the one with the dimples who was a carpenter (?). 🍸🍸🍸

Royal Marine commando training is a joke, Only 6 to 9 miles speed March in the final week. Indian para commandos have to do 100 miles run/speed March in final week with same battle load....
