haha I had a background in competitive swimming but honestly I have no idea haha. I loved it!

@@EmmaAbrahamson Wow I've noticed that a lot of swimmers are extremely good at running. I have a friend that has never done running before and he just joined last year and is now the fastest middle school kid in Florida (he got first in the state race). I also have another friend who just joined this year and is in sixth grade who does swimming and he places top 10 every race. (for our county)

I run cross country and it's the best thing ever. It's the first sport I've ever stayed with. I'm in middle school and I have been running since third grade. I love watching people who haves turned running into a career. It really inspires me

What was your training like at this age? Obviously you were running some pretty speedy times! I wasn’t sure if you were full time training like you were in high school or if you only ran a couple days a week like most youth programs I’ve seen in my area! I love these types of videos and think they’re so funny!

I was running 6x a week, alone some days and with my club team for others! A lot of my training was done on my own. I was very dedicated at a young age! I worked very hard. Thanks for watching :)

Im 13, doing track this spring. 5:58 mile in a 1.5 mile race in XC, 8:43 1.5 mile time! super excited for track, hope to run 5 flat and up my training to 45 mile per week! Edit: I just ran a 5:20 mile.

I am 11 and I run 200m, 100m and do relay. I also do high jump, long jump and swimming. I have made it to zone (second level) for 100m, 200m, long jump, high jump, relay and swimming. I have made it to regionals (third level) for 100m, relay and swimming.

Never heard a girl as fast as you at my age. I'm 13 and I run 4:50-4:45 miles and my 5K paces are around 5:15-5:30 per mile. Never met or heard of a girl that was near or is near my age that can run as fast as you did. Keep up the work! You have a bright future ahead of you!

I guess the best strategy is start in the middle or like lane 5 get close with the pack don’t let them make a big gap and slowly start to speed up in the 500 meters and in the last 100 give it all
