I don't even follow Common and I know I've read it in print and in a couple of his interviews saying he loves his adult daughter but doesn't want children. Some women (and men) don't listen. Think they are "the one" to change somebody's mind. Once ppl reach a certain point in life, ppl know what they want to compromise for and what is a hard no. Both of these individuals will be okay. Both are already in new relationships. That's the Hollywood way.

He may not want anymore children and is content having the one. Also, sometimes people get into relationships thinking that their partner will change their mind on something that is really a major deal-breaker (e.g. kids, marriage, moving, etc.). And that's a bad idea unless someone says they're actually open to the idea of changing something.

Yes but she is also a very confident and assertive yet free, you can see it in her aurora. He broke his own heart because if she left him it was because of something he did. He strikes me as the type that people fall in love with how awakened he appears but in a actual relationship he’s probably emotionally unavailable. Truthfully only inexperienced woman are willing to stick around with emotionally unavailable men draining themselves trying to help them heal. More seasoned women will see if for what it is and bounce rather than allow themselves to get hurt once they see the signs they will cut their losses. Erykah has that healing energy about her so i’m sure she was there for him but she wouldn’t allow him to drain her energy she wouldn’t be that type of empath. She portrays herself to be a “witch” she’s not about to let no one drain the energy out of her or carry a relationship that takes two. He’s heartbroken really because she’s probably the first woman who told him what she was about and stood on it and dipped. Everyone else before her HE basically let go. She’s likely the first woman who made him feel rejection so he can’t get past that. She definitely isn’t his one true love that got away. It’s him that the issue otherwise they would have found their way back to each other already. Also, he has access to a lifetime of therapy which can help him deal with any of his past traumas as well as just get through life in general. Theres no way at the age he is he hasn’t found any relationship he has been able to maintain. If he has been in therapy all this time with the same person he definitely needs a damn refund because theres no way he should still have relationships that aren’t lasting. I conclude he full of shit and just opens his mouth and speaks on what sounds good because it keeps him appearing attractive and a contender in the dating pool because most women his age should not be taking him serious in dating. That stuff he put out after Angela was really a publicity stunt for damage control for her. I think he dipped on her and felt bad because she’s into politics and alot of people told her not to deal with him. It was an act of kindness for her to salvage her integrity because her image is suppose to be a intelligent black woman so she basically would have been clowned to get played by someone like him she should have known better. That man not in no damn therapy. Most men with a track record like him are players and they just looking for a woman they can get away with being a player with. I’ve seen it in everyday life they want the “bad looking female” that has money but yet they still wanna be able to step out and the security of “wifey” at home.
