Strategy Games tend to retain their player bases better than other genres. There are people that still play Command and Conquer Generals and its servers were shut down.

Men Of War series might be something for you , much more in depth game , variations of tank penatration , looting enemies , inventories , squad splitting , take control of tanks yourself ( and aim ) , better cover systems , its not simple but much better in my oppinion , i recommend , Men Of War : Assault Squad 2 . , But Men Of War vietnam is also in the series

I think german in theatre of war operations Barbarossa is hader. Soviet have twice the unit and our tank is easy to destroyed by anti tank rile.

Relic has been hinting that they're going to make more armies and battlefields. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw the UK next in North Africa. Or US vs Japan even.

Traditionally they've always released two armies in a DLC. So UK and Panzer Elite could come back in a new DLC. I think USA/Japan etc would come under a new game completely. But perhaps they would have it attach to CoH2 so that you could switch between theatres of war. Would be pretty cool

Danny Hobden Panzer Elite is already added. It's basically Das Reich SS, which is included in OKW. This is evident by: Obersoldaten, Puma's as common unit, Stuka-zu-foss, and le.IG 18's.

Kyle Massey What would be the point? Neither countries could fight the other factions head-on. Japan relied mainly on ambush and defense-in-depth tactics on terrain suitable only for Infantry. Imagine playing as Japan with paper tanks against a bunch of IS-2's.

Knight Solaire The point would be to experience other historical battles that didn't invovle U.S. soldiers. I do hope you know also that Japan invaded China and got far in land destroying their defenses and even took over their then captial city Nanking. I feel this would make for some great gameplay.

Yup, I'm really sick of playing US and Germans over and over again.I want a new experienccccceeee!!!!, why don't they use the war in the pacific, like the bombing of Pearl Harbor,Bombing of Manila and shit, whooooow that would be a fun and exciting.

SolidWorldGamerz Pacific theatre games are my favorite man; My grandfather enlisted at age 17 immediately after Pearl harbor; being the first shipment of United States Marines into the Japanese Controlled islands; I believe he was in New Zealand or Austrialia *afterwards he went to one of them prior the other) - and straight to the first Marines to step onto japanese soil during Quadacanal; to the Airfield at Pelilue and the finale months upon months of constant brutal conditions and skirmish / major battles while pushing in through Okinawa (until it was announced that the war was over -) in between these quickly mentioned well known islands; he beached every major island (except Iwo Jima) as a United States Marine; The FPS "Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm" Has literally every map (aside once again iwo jima) - and playing through the battles imagining a month or longer going by dug in making slow progress to these hellish unexpected full pushes of enemies and mortar fire - My grandfather (RIP) Ended up making a career out of his USMC Enlistment serving once again as First boots on the ground during the Korean War, and the second day of United States Marine Occupation inside of Vietnam (at this point he had been a drill instructor while ranking as a Gunnery Sarge - so he went with "The Boys" he trained; to ensure what he promised them "to use his experience to get as many men home safely; while doing the most damage to the enemy". (Sorry for the ramble) but he also had some fascinating "missions" in the Chinese bordering areas; Phillipines; Russia; - Retired as a First Sarge - When I played (for example) Call of Duty 5 World at War - my PC handle was "1st Sgt John "Striker" Laneski" - in tribute; - Rising storm is the same; and the Pacific theater is so very fascinating as it was a completely different style of combat than the Western front; closer combat; jungle warfare; flamethrowers; insanity :D. It's just in my opinion the most fascinatingly brutal scenario of war I can imagine; island hopping without any sort of real "Break" for a few years in constant combat and under siege; as he stated to me years before he passed "You are told to run and the buddy next to you explodes - soaked with the blood of friends unable to think of anything except running to the location ordered; no time to wonder what would happen if it landed 5 feet across next to me; or if the hundreds of bodies you cannot cross back to check scattered across every beaching are living Marines; wounded - too much chaos; every second or two if lucky another artillerly (or mortal / explosion) - and in between and constantly the different "VOOSH" sounds of all our weapons; and our enemies echoed and covered up by the sound the initial weapon makes - eventually you are able to figure out what sort of weapon is being fired at you and from approximately the distance by the sound and the consistancy of the bullet accuracy;- but aside from taking out the target; and getting to the objective - you only have time to think about, and at some points obsess about being able to do the most damage to the enemy to push forward and win the war; while your life flashes before your eyes; and those of your friends as they......... cease to be" - That was very "off" the actual wording word for word; but I grabbed most of it; just not the right order. Make every game in the Pacific and i'll be groovy,
