So, when adjusting the timing, will you be doing so without a knock sensor? I'm used to tuning with an eye on KR readings from a knock sensor to know how much safe power can be extracted from the tune. How does the FAST EZ EFI system address making sure your timing settings are safe?

I really want EFI but when you can get a simple race crab 830 cfm for about $600 and a nitrous kit and all the other go fast goodies for the same price.. You tend to go the other direction. Very nice EFI kit though two big thumbs up!

Can it be adapted to run on a 92 k 2500 5.7 tbi? Its got flat top, .010 deck clearance pistons, aluminum heads, good midrange torque cam. But it still has to pass emissions.

I keep seeing all these EFI systems that are supposed to work with Wet Nitrous. When will someone put a Wet Nitrous system and show how it works with a big motor and how well it easily tunes?

What is the sender unit that is connected to the fuel reg?, is that an electronic FP gauge?

so how do you use this kit on a 550 hp low vacuum engine? so u disable self Learn and tune and run it in open loop? come on guys more info...my engine only pulls 5 hg at idle...

Is the throttle linkage, compatible with the TV cable on the Ford AOD, either with supplied cables, or with a Lokar cable kit?

Aaron Pedersen Yes, it can be used with a Ford AOD. You can fabricate your own bracket or purchase our part# 304147. Most customers use the Lokar cable on custom installs. Hope this helps - thank you!

Will this work with A NON Computer Controlled 700R4 Automatic Transmission With a Standard HEI I am putting in A Year One 350/400 horse Soon but I have heard there have been issues with Other TBI set ups having Problems with the Curb Idle and the Idle going up and down when shifted into Drive or turning the A/C on/off But not so much when used with manual transmissions I posed the Question to Summit on A couple of the different companies that make these I never heard anything back so now I am leery If there is something extra needed to make them work right with Automatic Trans I wish someone would just come out and say yes you need additional components like A Distributor made for EFI or Whatever tweaks need to be thought of before diving in.

Hello, thanks for your question. The short answer is yes, the system works fine with a 700R4 transmission. The majority of our EZ-EFI customers are using a non-computer-controlled automatic transmission. When it comes to the other components you need, the tech guys will probably need to ask more questions about your application and what you plan to use the vehicle for. I want the system but at nearly $3000 all said and done without a pro install (not that I'd need/trust one around here) it's a really expensive option and for what you get it makes no sense, though I'd never buy a LS engine for my truck it'd make much more sense given I can get a high output engine all ready to go with efi for only 4 grand more and then the engine it's self is ready for the power not just the efi unit

is it still 1200hp with e85? can it handle e85 and a turbo..if so i am so buying this....

1978 rover sd1 3500cc/ 214 in³ / 153 Hp twin carp is FAST EZ-EFI 2.0 Self Tuning Fuel Injection System work with it, and what i accept difference and it easy programing for normal drive for one time or i need to program every long period stop, or battery down, how much change i will get on engine chart map , hp and torque and this difference effect transmission auto or i need to upgrade torque converter stall speed and how i can know the right stall speed according the new engine chart map hp and torque . i know this system is reliable,fuel economy, smooth clean engine start. car is stock .all rover use Buick engine 214 in³ , i need to change cold air intake manifold . best regards

468 hp my ass. That car is moving pretty good he's making more than 468 hp to run a 6.61 1/8 mile

Exactly. The quarter mile charts online wont even get you close to 9.90 with a 3200 lb. car with 500 hp. Its in the 11's.

If the carb is properly set up, you won't see better peak numbers. Carbs work well at one rpm ;) EFI helps with driveability and less than WOT

I have been to the Irwindale speedway and it is 1/8 of a mile long. The track doesn't go further than that.

Don't waste your money on the self learning system. Check out their Facebook page and amazon reviews. A lot of unhappy people.

I have a 2.0 system on my 68 Camaro with a .030 over ZZ502. It’s been on the car for nearly 4 years now with zero problems. Most problems I’ve seen others have are caused by poor workmanship and failure to follow some simple guidelines. EFI is the best modification I’ve done to a street car in 40 years of hot rodding.
