George Lucas was so incredibly worthy of his Kennedy Centre Honours - his work founded LucasFilm, LucasArts, and ILM, inspiring generations of filmmakers, actors, gamers, computer scientists, artists, musicians, and makers, and giving the world such an amazing set of storytelling tools. Even if you don't see eye to eye with George creatively on Star Wars, you have to admire how influential his role has been in the Arts, and even Science, regarding ILM.
