I was in the audience and what he said was that he arranges the locations of shooting for outdoors sketches, organizes the financial side for props and such, pays attention to the legality sides of things when a joke references brands and handles some responsibilities of the pr department.

As someone who has worked as an executive producer before, I can attest that it is really hard to precisely describe what an associate or executive producer does on a show/film set. Jordan's description that he does various production tasks assigned to him is kind of the perfect Job description of an Associate producer.

He follows Patrick Bateman’s morning ritual: “l believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. He actually was promoted to the position he has. He started working on the show as an intern in the early '90s when Conan had late night. When Conan had the whole issue with NBC and moved to California many of his staff came with him. But yeah Jordan worked his way up the ladder

Teh fact that Conan shows you his staff, and is regularly talking to them (even if its part of skit) probably means he has a good relationship with them. People who don't have a great relationship with their staff either won't know their staff well enough to include them like this, or don't want to risk the obvious - that the staff show they don't like them in some way!

Ive met Jordan at a coffee shop in L.A. This is his personality dead on. Update: He was not drinking coffee. He reiterated that clearly on a Conan episode. He was just sitting down reading. Another update: Bandon Massey has low self confidence and projects how he is so that he may sleep at night as he struggles to have a self-understanding of his own troubled identity.

@@coryv5679 that’s an opinion. Conan is naturally funny. You may not like his skits, but his natural responses are comedic. Saying “ what would be the human answer” is funny. The way he interacts with Jordan is super funny. If you watch the past clips, they cut when Jordan laughed. There’s a few cuts in this one as well.

Being Associate Producer, he definitely co-wrote A LOT of the sketches we've grown to rewatch every now and then. Also, 26 YEARS?! Jordan's worked with Conan for more than half his life. Conan treats his staff poorly in public, but he probably spoils them when the cameras ain't rolling. Anti-Ellen.
