Don't rent these, they are so shit, and what's with the side shift/tilt button that can stab a hole in your thumb?? Not to mention the gigantic steering wheel, that's not so good for tight menuvering, 0 out of 10 Toyota. Just stick to cars mate

We use Raymond Reach trucks at my job, and the joystick is identical to this Toyota unit. I have no issues with the thumb controls. Also, I find the joystick to be the most ergonomic around, literally everything I need right in one place, tilt, side shift and all that jazz. Move it forward, it goes forward. Backwards goes back. They're better than Crown with their side steering weirdo stuff.

Also, Toyota makes the best sit-down LPG forklifts around, no one else compares. Hyster comes close, but still no Toyota.
