Conrad is so misunderstood...I feel like the whole fandom compares the brothers based on how emotionally mature they are in how they handle Susannah death, belly's heart, etc. But its not fair to hold people to these specific moments. Conrad has done a lot to show why Steven, Belly, and Jere all looked up to him all their lives, and just feels like its all so easily thrown away... Losing a parent is the hardest thing you can go through. And i just wished Belly had the emotional maturity Steven did for Conrad instead of comparing him to Jere. Like Belly had enough information by the end of the season to just have some patience and empathy for Conrad. His mother dying, his father cheating, having a panic attack, etc. One thing I saw with Steven was there was so much grace and forgiveness towards Conrad, even when Conrad shut him out...Steven didnt hold it against him. All three of them idolized Conrad, but maturity is knowing he is human and standing by him in his darkest hour. I know when i lost my mom at 17, I was a emotional wreck and still am at times. Its the kind of pain that changes you as a person. I felt the burden of whole world on me, while not feeling like myself anymore. And yes I shut people out unintentionally because i wasnt able to hold it together infront of them. But I'm so grateful for the ones that stuck with me while I weathered through this...and never making me feel like its too late or missed my chance to make it right with them

Belly had absolutely no right to feel hurt during this scene. Conrad deserved better😢

Belly really frustrated me this season, these boys have lost their mother. They’re father cheated on their mother while she was going through chemo. Their problems are just so different compared to hers. Also…..when people say like “Conrad is acting selfish because Jere is suffering with the same things” You have to remember, Jeremiah had his family sit down with him and talk to to him and comfort him the moment he found out. Conrad never had any of that. He had to deal with everything on his own because he didn’t wanna burden anybody. He didn’t have anybody to talk to. He’s father made him feel responsible for everyone else while he was struggling to be responsible for himself. Then the love of his life breaks up with him because he was in pain because his mother was on the edge of death, then she yells at him and acts like a brat on his mom’s funeral while being so gentle to his brother even though Jere was the one acting distant, then she comes and gets him when he runs off but then takes advantage in order to make Jere forgive her, then she yells at him and blames him for the breakup, and then proceeds to make out with his brother, while wearing his sweatshirt, in front of his college. Then when he finally lets himself be as immature as they are, she calls him a dick. How the fuck can ANYBODY expect Conrad to be okay? I’m surprised he didn’t shut down yet. But because he knows that he promised his mom that he would look out for his brother. So once again, he has to be mature, and throw away his feelings. He has very right to be an asshole, every right to be petty, every right to be heartbroken. He has every right to not be okay. I really hope Belly grows the fuck up. I’ve always been team Belly cause she’s my girl but this season……she’s not breaking his heart, she’s actually damaging this kid💔

Chris acting in this scene is unbelievable...like wow. He always slays, but this scene hit different imp. No matter how many times I watch it it breaks me everytime. You can feel his brokenness and it feels and looks like he is emotionally resigning. Like he doesn't have it in him anymore to pretend and fight, he is checking himself out. Amazing!

I love Conrad so much. He is so misunderstood. He is being so strong and self-sacrificing in this scene. He realizes Belly needs to be with Jeremiah right now…. she needs to see for herself that her and Jeremiah are not right for each other, in that way. So…. instead of fighting for her… he puts what he wants aside.. and he lets her go. He also doesn’t want to ruin their relationship completely…. so he pretends he doesn’t want her to be his girlfriend, and that they are cool and still friends…. I think what gets him through this conversation without breaking down, is that he truly believes that they are in fact infinite… and that with time they will find their way back to each other… because they are destined to be together. I also think he gives her back the necklace to remind her what they mean to each other…. I think, the fact that she accepts the necklace and holds on to it, even though reluctantly, means that she has not completely let go of him…. the fact that Belly holds on to the necklace, gives both the audience and Conrad hope that there is still a chance for them.

It hurt me so bad you can look on his eyes that he is hurting deep inside I wish I could give him a hug 🫂💙 they are end game !

I really hope Conrad gets the help that he needs so that he can love himself and others properly. I don’t like the way he treats belly but I can sympathize with what he’s going through watching him on this show is like looking at myself in the mirror. He’s grieving depressed and hurting and doesn’t know how to really deal with his feelings so he shuts down then pushes people that love him away and self sabotages because he’s afraid that one day he’ll lose them. he knows he’s going through alot mentally and he doesn’t want to burden others with that.

Just watching the season from the beginning of season 2 again. Never noticed how belly cared more about jeremiah feelings than she ever did about conrads. As she paused her relationship with conrad as didn't want to hurt jeremiah but just went ahead and started one with jeremiah even after finding out conrad was still in love with her. And jeremiah just wanted what he wanted again even after finding out how his brother felt. Both deserve each other they only care about themselves. Conrad deserves better

Belly was definitely messy this season, but honestly that’s why I loved it so much. Teenage love is complicated and conflicting because their brains are still developing! It’s frustrating to watch the decisions they make throughout, but even the cast mentioned that it’s all because they are still so young and young love is anything but easy. I’m happy she went with Jeremiah this season, but really wished Conrad and Belly had more time to actually talk to each other…I am so excited for season 3 ❤

Belly is messy, this isn’t news. However, Conrad needs to learn to communicate and tell people how he feels when he feels it. No one wants to be in a relationship where you're constantly having to second guess or feel like you have to read someone's mind to get the truth bc they just wont open up to you. Yes, he lost his mom, but when you're in a relationship with someone you have to allow yourself to lean on them during hard times, or it will never work and the person you love will feel helpless and pushed away. Hopefully his time in California will allow him to heal properly and grow as a person ❤

There is no meaning to infinity if they change the ending in anyway different from books.Infinity meant infinity.I am not sure why he gave back the chain. It's absolutely true how people react to pain differently. Belly seemed always in rush, looking for validations constantly. Although Belly was someone Conrad loved, she definitely needed to grow and learn and needed that maturity to understand Conrad's deeper connection. This break will give her that opportunity, I am totally in agreement of what he has done although very painful. I like how Gavin saw the love between both and brought up at least once for them to talk.

If you look closely, you can see that Jeremiah is still being manupulative.... Jeremiah is the reason that Belly & Conrad have gotten to this awful place and haven't made up yet. Now......after Belly kissed Jeremiah against Conrad's car..... and told him she wants him.... now......that Jeremiah is sure that Belly will choose him... he suddenly has a conscious... and wants them to have a real conversation. However..... notice.... how, as per usual, Jeremiah is still lurking in the background, waiting to interfere. See how quickly Jeremiah returned to the motel room, when Belly & Conrad were having their last conversation, alone, in the end. Jeremiah, instead of waiting outside of the room, untill one of them came out, signaling that they were actually done talking... once again, interrupted them, before they were really finished. He's such a sneaky .. manipulative ... insecure... ass. He doesn't play fair... ever.... even when he knows that he has gotten what he wants. Also, the way Jeremiah, keeps interrupting them, shows how insecure he still is, about his relationship with Belly.... he is still so worried that they will make up... because he knows that Belly still loves Conrad, even if she says otherwise... Jeremiah can still feel their unbreakable bond...and can see the way they continue to look so intensely at each other... "because that's the way they love each other"........

An unpopular opinion as a book reader: The problem I’ve always had with this series is that Conrad is also messy, and Jeremiah’s character is annihilated so said ship can be fulfilled at the end. Yes, their mother is gone, yes, Conrad still loves Belly amongst all the things going on. BUT I CANNOT, CANNOT, stand him saying he loves her and confesses how he feels and then says it’s not real the next day. Over. And Over, And Over AGAIN. You think Belly has been the only one giving mixed signals???? Look at Conrad. Pushes the people away who need him most. Willingly talks to and hooks up with other girls knowing, KNOWING FULL WELL the girl he wants in all of this world is right in front of him AND HE KNOWS THAT SHE HAS LOVED HIM LIKE FOREVER. He keeps doing the bait and switch with Belly and its frustrating and tiring to always see that. Like, I cannot be the only who sees this right? I’m just annoyed that Conrad’s behavior is always justified and excused, and Belly and Jere’s actions are always looked down upon.

Young love is priceless!! I didn't like her character this season. Not everithing is about you girl.. a lot of things happened between them and I was very dissapointed that She and Conrad didnt't had a mature conversation to express their feelings, to discuss their relationship. At the end, neither of them fight for their relationship. Conrad was so stubborn that he prefer to shout her out than to tell her that He is depressed and really love her. I guess that is the way of life. They will grow and learn from their mistakes, but Her been with Jer right now was no the smart decision, it was the safe decision. She needs to close Conrad chapter first. Heal her heart and learn from her mistakes before been with somelse. I like Jer...he is a good kid (at the moment), but he also needs to heal his heart. If Belly really wants to be with him, He should have give her more time. Afterall, in love not everything is fair. SHE SHOULD BE ALONE.

When you're young you think the emotionally intensity and the constant ups and downs are what Real Love is but as you mature you realise that a Relationship that will last is based on being with someone that makes you feel safe and is always there and you can only build something with someone who is open and emotionally mature enough to communicate their feelings work through problems with. Belly is my least favorite character because she comes in between two brothers like why would you do that say that you love Conrad yet go with his brother girl date someone else did she want to hurt him...and she 's desperate for a boyfriend and in love with the idea of love take a chill pill lol. Her mom should've told her to be single not to jump into another relationship She deserves better than Jer Didn't Susana told her to be there for Conrad to be patient. She wasn't... she was expecting him to do what other bf do when he lost the most important person. She can't be there for him be empathetic she's kinda selfish Susannahb should come back to haunt her lol And Jer oh god I don't like him either from season one you could tell he's envious of his brother idk if its because of his relationship with their mom and he knows Conrad is in love with Belly did he want to beat him at that I love Conrad he's selfless sacrificing what he wants for others.
