yes! and the fact that every single aspect of it was super intentional. they said in an interview that it was actually raining constantly whenever they tried to film this scene, and production had to pull a bunch of strings with the lighting and use tv magic to make it the way it turned out. super stunning

K before all the Conrad girlies get up in arms I have a few things to say: 1. BOTH brothers put her happiness above theirs, and were willing to step aside for the other brother. Not just Conrad, but Jere too. 2. Steven and Conrad are both judging Jere based on his past relationships, but he has CONSISTENTLY shown up for Belly both seasons and makes her smile more than anyone else. 3. Belly LITERALLY chose Jere over Conrad, knowing Conrad had feelings for her. 4. Belly and Jere are still teenagers learning about themselves. They have lots of growing to do. Will Belly end up with Conrad? Eventually. But will she have a happy two year relationship with Jere and learn to have an identity separate from a crush on Conrad? Also yes. 5. These two just have the MOST chemistry of any couple on this show and I’m excited to see what happens with them. Honestly team Belly was the actual winner this season. She chose Jeremiah, but she also chose the unknown, which is new for her and I’m proud of her. Ok end of speech.

Gavin is such a good actor, (they all are) but Garvin, all season every scenes he had with Belly or about Belly we could really feel his pain, struggle, and how he was scared to let himself go and fall in love again. The scene in episode 8 with his brother you can see the tears and the pain of the thought of not being the one for Belly. I love Jere, the team who developed the character in the serie did an amazing job!!

When Jeremiah was talking to Conrad and he said all he wants is for Belly to be happy even if that involves being with Conrad he’ll still be happy for her and for Conrad too I was like that is GROWTH!! Conrad will have a big character growth as well, just goes different for him. He already grew a lot this season as well, it's just different. He started opening up and letting Belly go, which is huge. Jere did grow too though. Can't wait for season three and see a happy anc confident Conrad, who doesn't think about too much abt other people and just does his thing :). Wishing Jere and Belly a happy time together, but Belly and Conrad are soulmates end are going to be endgame. I wish for Jere to find his soulmate in season 3 though

But sometimes the casting director shows up to to work and does their job and cast people with good chemistry. Having great chemistry and a good intimacy coordinator also helps. These scenes are often choreographed to maintain the actors’ safety. Also maybe what you are picking up is the fact that they have a lot of trust in each other. So they can really give themselves over to characters/scenes.

Belly and Jeremiah should be endgame, and if Belly goes back to Conrad next season at least I am comforted that they ended this season with Jere and Belly together and that will be the show finale for me and I skip watchig next season! After I watched the chemistry between Bells and Jeremiah I do not care about Belly and Conrad together (and that is me saying after I rooted for Conrad in season 1).

The moment she woke up she knew what decision she was making. She put her finch sweater on 🥹 I'm pretty happy with the ending of season two. However, if season three follows the books - I wonder how they'll spin it back around. The chemistry and development has been really centred on these two. I feel like they've had a lot of sweeter moments than Conrad and Belly overall. Let's see

Honestly I don’t think season 3 is gonna be the last season. They will at least do 4. I’m hoping for at least 5. So like season 3 is just gonna be them and Conrad getting development into being a better person. I would make season 4 the collapse of Jelly and Bonrad is sort of rising from the ashes (not fully). Then season 5 time has passed, now it is time to do Bonrad. That’s how I would map it out a Bonrad ending. If god loves me and let’s us keep Jellyfish. Season 3 would be them together, but Conrad being a menace to society. With Jeremiah ending things due to being afraid of being hurt. Season 4 is Conrad development, followed by a red herring Bonrad development. Conrad becomes a person Belly would be interested in dating, but she still ultimately in love with Jeremiah and holding out hope for Jeremiah. And then season 5 is about getting jellyfish back.

@@firzyyy I mean not really. It’s “long” cuz streamers are shit. We used to get 22 episode seasons for at least 5 seasons if the show was popular. This is one of the biggest shows on Amazon Prime, and the execs came out yesterday saying they want to continue to build this property out and are already thinking about potential spinoffs. Now that those reports have come out, I would like to amend the plan. Cuz, I’d give Conrad the spinoff. He is perfectly primed for a spinoff. I know I am betraying my team by saying that, but so far I am not seeing the angle for a Jere spinoff. But Conrad? He’s literally on the other side of the country, lost his mom, lost his girl, and has regressed as a character. In the show, Conrad mentions how his mom wanted him to go to Cali to find himself. Have him do just that! It basically writes itself.

The tshirt grabbing the hair grabbing the neck omg... then the sweet quick pecks at the end with that last cute kiss and then leaning into each other.. omg..😂 These two are amazing actors because i honestly believe she belongs with jerimiah/Gavin..😛 I will be honest if they want her to end up with conrad at the end they better step up the chemistry game between Chris and lola cuz honestly their intimate scen was not as filled with chemistry as these kiss scenes between gavin and lola.

That's your opinion though...I do feel Chris and Lola had a lot of chemistry even better to me then GAvin and Chris but I guess it depends on how you see it. To me, Conrad and Belly will always be soulmates, like they were crazy deep in love and I feel like you act different in that kind of state. They were really overwhelmed on how deep they felt for eacht other. Thes christmas scene was so beautifully done, as it wasn't just about passion it was about deep love and being with that person after both waited so long for this. They were careful around each other, yet portraied how much they loved each other. I feel like with Jere it's a lot more about safety and passion now. So whereas I think their kisses are hot and all, I don't get like deep soulmate love vibes. But that's how I see it

Jeremiah has a scene with music… not only reserved to Bonrad anymore. He is stepping up. Also I like how he is so hesitant to give in. Like he refuses to have his heart broken again, like he won’t repeat last summer. I like how Belly affirms him that she chooses him, I just don’t know. I have read the books so I know how it’s suppose to end, but Jenny Han has been making changes. Can’t wait to see what happens in season three!!!
