Can’t wait to see her at Oshkosh, Mom and Dad met as Stewardess and Pilot flying them to North Africa for the military. Thanks Rod Lewis and Steve Hinton!

Definitely the most beautiful aircraft ever made. I can't wait to see it at Oshkosh in person. Thank you Lewis Air Legends for preserving such a beautiful piece of aviation history!! So sad I will miss its arrival on Monday, I won't be at Oshkosh until Tuesday.

Super Connie the most Beautyful aircraft ever built. I flew from Oakland Army Terminal to Hawaii, then on to Wake Island, then on to Tachikawa Japan. All on a Connie. I was in the army 1957 EOD. Then off to Korea in a Globemaster C- 124 (Old Shakey). Got my Pilots ticket in 1956 at 16yo. Been flying ever sense. I am the proud owner of a 06 Toga 2 TC. 🤠😎

Look at aircraft designed back in the '30s' and they have sleek flowing lines. It's a throwback that somehow transitions to our current time. Just beautiful.

This is a sight I have missed. I used to see the Collings Foundation's Connie when they visited the Carolinas Aviation Museum. That aircraft was later flown to South Korea and donated to a museum there.

What are the vents on top of the right wing near the trailing edge, just in front of the flap? I don't see them on the left wing.

I saw Ike and Mamie land at CID when JFK lent them the former Air Force One Constellation so they could attend Herbert Hoover’s funeral in 1961. I can still see, hear, and smell it!!!
