In this video we compare the Roborock S6 MaxV to the Roborock S7. Both models are excellent robot vacuums, but we think the S6 MaxV is the better option overall.

Hmm interesting results, other comparisons I've watched actually praise the S7 for being better overall. This is the first one where the S6 actually did better.

Exactly the comparison video that I needed. I thought the S7's vibrating mob would be better but it looks like it does not really improve mopping outcome.

I feel like the mopping test was not succinct enough - S7 introduces a lateral vibration on the mop surface that pseudo a scrubbing motion. Perhaps difference in mopping performance could be seen between the models, when tested on mopping stains ?

The s 7 has 3 different suction options. What was the suction at the s7 max level?

Hab den jetzt auch, weiß jemand ob das Ladedock leuchtet? Oben drauf ist ja eine LED, aber die ist ständig aus. Daher weiß ich nicht ob das Teil lädt oder nicht. Vielleicht ist meins kaputt? :(

What are the dimensions of the chair legs you use for testing? (I mean, from an upper view, what is the distance between each leg?)

The S6 MaxV is now discontinued, so that's unlikely. However, I will be releasing several videos talking about the S7 MaxV shortly - and part of those videos will include comparing it to older Roborock models.

All other things being equal, higher airflow and suction is better.

I bought s6 maxv because it have camera, we have child and is not comfortable to move shoes, toys and other things before evry celaning. In all tests s6 maxv on internet have a little bit worst cleaning than s7. In this test s6 maxv its a little better. Hmm mayby new version (2022) of s6 maxv have a little improvmnents?

I still don't get how Roborock claims 2 billions pascal of suction when it clearly does not achieve that scale of power in real measurements.

I did a lot of research trying to figure out how manufacturers measure suction, to get a better idea as to why there's such a discrepancy between their numbers and my numbers, but I couldn't find any information on the topic online.

It's been in and out of stock the last few months. Even older models like the S4 Max and S5 Max are still available so I would expect the S6 MaxV to be available new once again soon.

It is available to purchase brand new, it just depends on the region and how fast they restock. The s6 is not discontinued.
