@3:30....My head exploded from the technical onslaught of GEAR. Others: "It's only a fucking cooking show". Photographers: "Yeah, 3-4 cams running, multiple POVs, audio challenges, and oh yeah...being the star of the show. Then I get to edit it." #KUDOS #TALENT #SKILLS @32:17.....my head reverse screwed, fell off. Sure, yeah- I was stoned, but still.....the software pyrotechnics that you displayed dancing on a hot keyboard= truly impressive.

one of the coolest videos of the ones that I have seen (actually I've seen practically all your published video content) is the one you did in black and white about the different sensor sizes between APS-C and full-frame and big format... it was genius including audio ;)

couldn't agree more about content over the gear you shoot with. I shoot with my x-e3 and quite often the 18mm f2 (i know lots of people hate it) and the focusing on the 18mm is noisy as hell so needing a lav mike is essential. Mind you I have always shot audio independantly of the camera (I like having a back up) It's all about the ease of setting up and just shooting it. Rather concentrate on what I'm saying than what it's being shot on. LumaFusion looks interesting, but I use davinci resolve as I can grade and edit in one place with a quick turnkey solution on my laptop. Keep up the videos they're always a must see and informative. You're cooking video looked great, wasn't flashy, it was genuine and really enjoyable to watch....Just need the smells to get the whole packeage :-)

This comment comes to you from Day Nine (in Spain anyway), almost Day Ten actually ... which is worrying because I'm going to run out of fingers on which to count the days. Anyway, thanks for the video Zack. You were kind enough to watch one of my videos and get me back to me with some feedback the other day. I'm not using LumaFusion but I have plenty to learn about both filming and editing so there was still lots of useful ideas in here. I kind of rushed through my next video without yet learning how to do better transitions because I knew I was going to starting work online today so my time to play around was about to end. I did cut the length of the fades I've been using, and experimented with two scenes, but mostly stuck to what (little) I know. Learning to do other types of transitions is top of my video editing To Do List and, when I can I'll play around with my footage and learn to do it better. If you have some time on your hands - and I would definitely suggest a coffee or a tea - then my second video on life under lockdown here in Spain is now live. I do recommend that coffee. It's long, and it starts off slow, but hopefully it's worth sticking with ... a metaphor for self-isolation itself. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gLh8a7p0s6i1dIE.html Thanks again, and all the best to you Zack. Stay safe and well.

Thank you for posting! Just tripped over you on 1 previous video “Why your not winning photo contests” while watching a Lomography video.. This video answered a lot of questions because I was thinking of buying Lumafusion for my new iphone 11. I shoot a lot of video with my JVC LS300 and FCPx, but looking forward to shooting, editing and uploading all on iphone or ipad when I don’t need to set up big cameras and cinema lenses etc. I don’t know how it will work on an iphone 11... but maybe simple short quick videos with color grading on iphone 11 using filmic pro log v2 and simple edit to upload might be ok.. the export functions looks great on the lumafusion. Thank you for posting a quick start to finish project.. gives me a good idea of what to expect from LumaFusion and that is probably worth the $30 experiment for doing quick short projects while on the go with iphone or ipad without cinema cameras and laptops and hdd arrays for larger/longer projects.

Also how do you like that FujiFilm in the corner.. Honestly I was thinking of that camera simple being small, almost smart phone like but because of the fun goofey colors... out and about in a mint green one and no one would think I’m professional.... which would be the idea... local security would say.... “Ah poor tourist with a goofy kids camera... ignore that clown.... go harrass the film school student with a tripod.. “.
