How to cook Bulgogi with Mark and Momiplier! Step 1: Dump your meat Step 1: Prepare your vegetables Step 2: Wash good Step 3: Wash goooood Step 4: Don't trust farmers Step 5: Put a little extra 'You know what *wink wink*' in your ingredients Step 6: Dump the meat Step 7: Measure out your meat unnecessarily precisely...... And than slap it in the bowl Step 8: Korea does NOT have a system of measurements. They do it by SPOON. A tablespoon (The Korean way of measuring: If it fits your mouth, it's a tablespoon) Step 9: Tenderize your meat Step 11.... or 10?: Jus is the better! Step 12: Kill the fat cell Step 13: Practise (With mommy) Step 13: All of them Step 14: Only cook if your feeding 10 people or more Step 14 part B: Korean recipes are only catered towards families of 10 or more Step 15: MUSHROOM TIME!!! Step 16: The chunky has to go fine Step 16: Make sure you get your vitamin something Step 17: You need mineral. You mineral or you die! Step 18: Pound it until hamburger Step 18: You MUST be precise! Koreans will NOT except imprecision! Momiplier: That's not true. ... Step 19: I just lied Step 19: Throw away your tablespoons, you won't need them Momiplier: NO it's right here! ... Step 20: I Lied again Step 20 part B: Check to see if it's a tablespoon by putting it in your mouth Step 21: All the other steps were not important, but every step from 21 on is important Step 22: It's expected that all your ingredients should eventually just mix together at any given moment Step 23: REAL sesame, none of that fake stuff! One ROUNDED tablespoon Step 24: And one more Step 25: (If you don't have fish sauce) At msg Step 25 part B: It's your choice Step 27: Everything is a tablespoon, unless it's two tablespoons Step 28: Go with your gut Step 29: Onion has to have there Step 29 part B: You could have put onion before all this other stuff Step 30: The more the garlic the better that it is Step 30 part B: Good for you! Step 31: We unfortunately have to put a little more salt Step 32: Throw away half your salt Step 33: I don't know Step 34: No time to laugh Step 35: Put some pepper then throw it away Step 36: Most important 'Soy Sauce' Step 37: Wash your hands S̶t̶e̶p̶ ̶3̶8̶:̶ ̶M̶I̶I̶I̶I̶X Momiplier: Massage! Mark: Scratch that Step 38: Massage Step 30. B: Don't break the precious meat Step 39: If it turns out hamburger. That's fine! Step 40: Let it marinate Step 41: Go wash your hands Step 41: Need more prettier Step 42: YOU'RE WRONG!!! YOU'RE JUST WRONG!!! Step 43: Go call Gordon Ramsay, tell him he's wrong Step 44: Make it about 3 millimeter Step 45: Bitter the better! Step 46: No French allowed! Step 47: NEVER be delicate with your vegetables! Step 4...8?: .... Mark and Momiplier at the same time: High heat Mark "Laughs" Step 48: HIGH Mark "Reads a question in the chat" Mark "Answers the question and afterwards says that his mom will be disappointed at us if we don't watch the livestream Momiplier: O NOOO "shakes head mightily" Don't believe in what he's saying Step 49: The most important step! Don't believe a word I say! Step 50: Place hand IN the pan to test the temperature Step 51: Whatever the temp was, turn it down a little bit Step 52: Salt brings out the sweat flavor Step 54: Carefully pick out the pepper from the bowl you mixed all the 'not peppers' in and put them in the pan Step 55: cook it g.e.n.t.l.y Step 56: You want the crunch Step 57: Don't time it, just look at it! And than leave it... Somewhere Step 57: High Heat first Step 58: Keep checking the temperature. Hight heat. Check it with a hand, back hand, stick your face in there Momiplier: Make sure it's brown (The hand) Step 59: You know it's hot when your hand is brown Step 60... I think: Pick a random tool out of the bucket and use it to scoop the meat with Step 60: Make sure your pan is THICK with 3 CCCs at least Momiplier: You don't have to if you don't have one Mark: Could be a 2 CC thick pan Step 61: Make sure it sissles like "makes alien noise" Step 62: Start spooning your meat Step 63: You know when it's cooking when you hear the "imitates a snake" sound Step 64: impatient? Dump the whole... "begins laughing as Momiplier begins to complain that it was for the sound effect" Step 65: Put a lid on it and let it do the job Step 66: THE LAST STEP... It's for the colour Step 66: Let's make it a little prettier.......... And voila "Mark and Momiplier argue if voila is Korean or Franch" Step 67: Voila is now Korean! That's just a fact "Mark and Momiplier talk about Korean BBQ and that everyone should go to one at least once in their live" Step 68: You won't be disappointed "Mark and Momiplier argue about the meat quality and whose fault it is that the meat isn't what it should be" ... Step 69: Mom is NEVER wrong Step 69: Deny deny deny Step 70: Maybe a little more salt... or soy sauce. Depend on your mood. Step 71: Make sure your meat isn't to thin Step 71: Make sure your meat isn't to thin BEFORE you start cooking Step 72: Make sure you check step 71 before you even started this recipe. That's VERY important! ' BEST STEP TO STEP RECIPE EVER!!!

I know I am watching this a year later BUT after working at a small restaurant with a family of Koreans this was EXACTLY how it was when they were teaching me. 😂 The accuracy of this video is amazing. No measuring, looking at the color as you're cooking, the smell, making everything colorful, never wasting ANYTHING, using your bare washed hands, cutting quickly and not understanding half of what they were telling me to do but they always smiled and laughed and made it a great time. ALWAYS encouraging and making someone feel great about learning and practicing to get better. I loved it and miss it very much. I learned how to make the bulgogi pork, kimchi and also Japanese cuisine, sushi and more and it was so delicious!! No dish was made the exact same way twice. 😂 But it was always amazing. (I used a wok and a flat top grill though.)

We need more of these videos for several reasons: One- to learn a few recipes for momiplier. Two- learn some Korean recipes. Three- it feels like a actual cooking show. Now the Most important! So Mark and his Mom can talk shit about Gordon Ramsey and get him to show up haha....or so Mark will gain enough knowledge and learn how to cook from his momma! (He's how old and he was struggling to cut a mushroom and a bell pepper! 😂💀) Do we all agree that there needs to be more son and mother cooking videos!? This video was great!

Some cooking knowledge for you curious few; 1. The white part of the bell pepper does, in fact, add bitterness to the dish. The seeds in a pepper, however, will make the dish spicier. 2. Extra virgin olive oil is called that because it is the first squeeze of juice from the olive. Virgin olive oil is the second squeeze. And so on. 3. Salt can emphasize the sweetness in a dish if you add a little salt relative to the sweet flavor. This has to do with your body sensing the contrast of flavors and emphasizing the stronger flavor. Try adding a pinch of salt to rice crispy treats and see what happens. 4. Try not to add fats or oils to a pan until it has been preheated. Otherwise, you could burn the oils or fats before you begin cooking. 5. Always wash your hands before cooking! First rule of food safety. 6. The enzymes in the pineapple and the onion will help break down and tenderize the meat. This goes on a deeper level than just whacking the meat with a hammer, making it so the meat is almost as tender as rice. This is also why you should let the mixture marinate overnight, so the chemical process has time to break down the meat. 7. Fermented foods were most likely discovered when people forgot about some old jar of one food or another, but didn't die when they shrugged and took a bite anyway. Many discoveries in food were discovered by accident (like butter). On a side note, this is so nostalgic for me. My grandparents (also Asian immigrants) always cook without using any real measurements and just eyeballing it. Best. Food. EVER!

I actually made authentic Chinese fried rice by mistake. I was trying to make shrimp scampi. I was making that with carrots and peas with white rice but ya. Didnt taste the way I wanted and discovered I was just shy of making fried rice so I added the veggies, to soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic and on one side of the pan scrambled an egg while mixing the rest of the ingredients. Any ways it ended up tasting like fried rice, like for real brought it to work and people thought I bought a shit ton of fried rice and put it in my own container. Ever since I haven't been able to replicate it lol always ends up tasting different and this was based off a shrimp scampi recipe which I lost some how lol

Whatever the temperature was, turn it down a little. Step 52. Salt brings out the sweet flavor. Step 54. Carefully pick out the peppers from the bowl that you mixed all the not peppers in and put them in the pan. Step 55. Cook it gently. Step 56. You want the crunch. Step 57. Don't time it, just look at it. Step 57. High heat first. Step 58. keep checking, check the temperature, high heat, check it with the hand, back of hand, stick your face in there, make sure it's brown. Step 59. You know it's hot when your hands brown. Step 60. Pick a random tool out of the bucket and use it to scoop the meat. Step 60. Make sure your pan is thick with three or more C's (two C thick is acceptable). Step 61. Make sure it's sizzles like brawthla. Step 62. Start spooning your meat. Step 63. You know it's cooking when you hear the s-s-sound. Step 64. Impatient, dump the whole thing. Step 65. Put a lid on it, let it do the job. Step 66. Let's make it a little prettier. Step 67. Voilà is now Korean. Step 68. You won't be disappointed. Step 69. Mom is never wrong/deny, deny, deny. Step 70. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the oil from the first pressing and needs to have an acidity of 0.8% or lower. It's best to use for example as a dressing on salads, and not to bake with. When baking the much cheaper non virgin olive oil gives the same if not better results.
@BrieannaKeogh
@BrieannaKeogh 5 жыл бұрын
Yes but then you have to buy multiple bottles of the stuff. Extra virgin is still fine to cook with.

HOW TO COOK KOREAN FOOD IN JUST 72 EASY STEPS (yes I actually did this): Step 1: -dump your meat- prepare your vegetables Step 2: wash good Step 3: wash good again Step 4: don’t trust farmers Step 5: put a little extra “you know what” Step 6: dump the meat Step 7: measure out your meat unnecessarily precisely and throw it in the bowl Step 8: Korea doesn’t have a measuring system, they do it by spoon Step 9: “tendonize” your meat Step 10: juice is the better Step 12 (we don’t need 11): kill the fat cell Step 13: practice Step 13 (again): all of them Step 14: a) only cook if feeding 10+ people b) Korean recipes cater to families of 10 or more Step 15: mushroom time Step 16: the chunky has to go fine Step 16 (again): make sure you get your vitamin something Step 17: you need mineral; you mineral or you DIE Step 18: pound it until hamburger Step 18 (again): you must be precise Step 19: I [Markiplier] just lied Step 19 (again): throw away your tablespoons you won’t need them Step 20: I [Markiplier] lied again. b) to see if it’s a tablespoon, put it in your mouth Step 21: all other steps leading to this step aren’t important Step 22: it’s expected that all your ingredients should mix together at any given moment Step 23: REAL sesame. ONE tablespoon Step 24: and one more Step 25: a)add MSG b) it’s your choice Step 26: one round tablespoon Step 27: everything is a tablespoon unless it’s 2 tablespoons Step 28: go with your gut Step 29: a) onion has to have there b) you could have put onion before all this other stuff Step 30: a) the more the garlic, the better that it is b) good for you Step 31: we unfortunately have to put more salt Step 32: THROW AWAY HALF YOUR SALT Step 33: I don’t know Step 34: no time to laugh Step 35: put some pepper than throw it all away Step 36: soy sauce is the most important Step 37: wash your hands Step 38: a) -mix- MASSAGE b)don’t break the precious meat Step 39: if it turns out hamburger, that’s fine Step 40: let it marinate Step 41: go wash your hands Step 41 (again): make more prettier Step 42: YOURE WRONG Step 43: call Gordon Ramsey, tell him he’s wrong Step 44: make it about 3 mm Step 45: bitter the better Step 46: NO FRENCH ALLOWED Step 47: we’re going for color Step 47 (again): never be delicate w your vegetables Step 48: HIGH Step 49: don’t believe a word Markiplier says Step 50: place hand exactly 5 in (ish) above pan to get temperature Step 51: whatever the temp was, turn it down just a little Step 52: salt brings out the sweet flavor Step 54 (we don’t need 53): carefully pick out the peppers from the bowl that you mixed everything in and put them in the pan Step 55: cook it gently Step 56: you want the crunch Step 57: isn’t time it just look at it Step 57 (again): High heat first Step 58: check the temp with your hand Step 59: you know it’s hot when your hand is brown Step 60: pick a random tool and scoop the meat with it Step 60 (again): make sure your pan is thiccc with 3 c’s Step 61: make sure it sizzles like *sizzling sounds* Step 62: start spooning your meat Step 63: you know it’s cooking when you hear the SSSSSSS sound Step 64: impatient, dump the whole thing Step 65: put a lid on it and let it do the job Step 66 (THE LAST STEP): Let’s make it a little prettier Step 67 (step 66 isn’t the last step, Mark just can’t keep his promises): voila is NOT Korean Step 68: you won’t be disappointed Step 69: mom is never wrong; DENY, DENY, DENY Step 70: maybe a little more salt Step 71: make sure your meat isn’t too thin, check to make sure of this before you start cooking Step 72: make sure you check step 71 before you even start this recipe

Lift your leg up behind you. Spin around for about 1 second. Stop. Double take 3 times. Pelvic thrust to your left, then back to your right. Stop on your right foot as you come back to your right after the pelvic thrust. (Don't forget it!) "Bring it around town" by spinning your torso in a circle around the air. Jump around for about 6 seconds. Blow your bubble by either lightly blowing for detailed extravagant art or screaming for a large bubble
