'The Children of Mu-Town' is a rare treasure. It's not very often that I see it discussed. There's a serene beauty that hovers over the series, but I can't describe exactly what it is that draws me in. Regardless, I really hope to get my hands on the stunning hardcover release whenever I can. There's very little I can say about 'Look Back' that hasn't been said already. It was fantastic, for so many different reasons. So, I'll just leave it at that. Not sure if you've seen it but the sequel/side-story to the 'The Tatami Galaxy' was announced to be getting an adaptation soon. I was wondering what your thoughts are on that. If you haven't seen it, it definitely seems like something that would be up your alley. Great video as always, dude. Take care.

I actually haven't watched Tatami Galaxy. It's one of those "Yeah, I know I'll probably love this, and I'll get around to it... eventually" type of shows for me. I will absolutely watch it though ...eventually

Great video! It's always a treat seeing people share their love for a piece of media instead of being negative about every little thing. As for the shows themselves, Vivy was by far my favourite new show of the year, with 86 and Odd Taxi right behind; simply phenomenal, all of them. By the way, have you watched/read Re:Zero? Vivy's co-writer, Tappei Nagatsuki, is also the author behind that series, and I think Re:Zero would be right up your alley if you like genuine character driven stories.

Honestly Vivy might be my favourite of the year so far as well, though I haven't gotten around to watching 86 yet. As for Re:Zero I've watched what's out of the anime up to now. I have really enjoyed it, and I think it's a show that has just kept on getting better as it goes. I thought season one was a pretty fun show without all that much more to it, but I really liked season two's creativity in using its setting. I'm looking forward to seeing where ut goes from there, though I can't see myself picking up the LN anytime soon, mostly because I have a few series I started a while back but never caught up to.

@@Evangaard Nice! 86 is great, so I'm curious to hear your opinion on that eventually. As for Re:Zero... personally, season 2 cemented it as my all time favourite, but it was already a special show to me since season 1 because of the mature but tasteful way it handled its protagonist's development.

Completely unrelated but what do you think about Satoshi Kon's work? My first and favorite one of his works is *Perfect Blue*

I really like his work. Especially Perfect Blue, but I also really love Tokyo Godfathers, Millenium Actress and Paranoia Agent. The only thing that I've watched from him that I didn't really care for was Paprika, as I found the pacing to be really all over the place
