Man, that's a huge compliment, thank you! We watch a lot of aussie 4x4 content so it's cool you're checking ours out. We've got a couple friends with 80's, we try and get them out when we can, love 'em!

Man , I love that taco 🌮 Looks just like Mine, I really think the First Gen Tacoma is the last of the Great Toyota Mini Trucks 🛻
@ToyotaWorldRunners2 жыл бұрын
I think so too!

@@ToyotaWorldRunners They just keep getting bigger and bigger, pretty much a full size truck 🛻 now with so many Gizmos, I'll stick with my first gen Tacoma, hopefully she's done soon?

A friend of mine toes race cars around Florida with his tacoma, he runs AMS oil through everything. Swears by it, said to me the secret to keeping a Toyota transmission going 1/2 mil, miles is a good trans cooler, it’s heat that will blow a transmission. I think he has a great point!

May have to join your crew for one of these trips. Im just in Vancouver driving around a very wide long travel first gen 4runner. Just in the process of updating my drivetrain with a new motor, wiring and getting my transmission rebuilt. Should be done next summer

How is the front solid axle with leaf springs so articulated? Do you have any videos showing the details of how the leaf springs are connected to the chassis? Thanks! Are the tyres 40'' or bigger?

Hi guys, from Nicaragua by way of California, dat land cruiser could have been driven with no problems if you have turn your wheels to da left without any need of winching. Another thing is why do you guys treat your vehicles as if Dey gonna last forever?? I mean I’ve got 2 tacomas a 97 and a 06 both 4x4 and Dey last me this long because I do not treat demm beyond just as if nothing would happen specially been out there way far inda boondocks, is dat how you Canadian work your vehicles?? My 97 Tacoma is almost like the green on except mine has an extra cab not much big difference but probably same engine!!

Thanks for the comment. Everything can be replaced, I can only speak for myself - I don't beat on it that hard but I use to for what I built it for!

Does the fj have a diesel in it? And what kind
@ToyotaWorldRunners2 жыл бұрын
That's our friend Rob's 1983 BJ42. A rare unicorn of a land cruiser with a factory 3B diesel and power steering.
