Unfortunately the Twin Cam JIMS Force Flow is out of stock for the Twin Cams. If you can find someplace that still has inventory, and you want it, that would be the way to go. Love mine, installed on my softail last April. Worked awesome all summer long, especially when having to stop at several lights making my way home on a 95+ degree day. Thermostat engages fan at 140 degrees cylinder head temp but if it's a cooler day and oil temp wouldn't come close to 230 I'd turn it off with the switch. Little more to install on softail since the coil needs to be relocated to the top front engine mount bracket and new length plug wires but after having all summer well worth the cost and time to install imo. The fan is very well made which seems the norm for Jim's. Thanks for another great video!

Super kewl! was nice to see how to get the fan thermostat to mount on the twin cooled M8. I recently installed the love jugs on my 2018 Ultra Classic. I did hook up the wires directly to the battery. I do have to turn the fan on and off manually; however, I don't really mind doing that. If I ever got tired of the love jugs I'll try Jim's Force Flow Fan. I do like the look.

So Harley designs an engine that can/will exceed the safe elevated operating temperatures as per their own manual, then charges you a fortune to buy their product, then on said Harley perfection you must spend additional dollars to help with engine cooling so you don’t ruin the engine. I get that right? Makes sense to me.

It's the EPA and European environmental agencies forcing more and more restrictions onto manufacturers like Harley and if they don't meet the requirements, they get shut down and not allowed to sell vehicles at all. Don't take all your anger out on Harley, it's the EPA and if those rediculous regulations weren't in place, Harley and every motor vehicle company would let their bikes and cars breath and it would be cheaper, better and more affordable for everyone involved. These envoronmental agencies are completely out of control and making it impossible for businesses to succeed and they're killing manufacturing which is a vital industry for any countries economy and jobs. Small businesses don't stand a chance with all the red tape if massive companies can barely manage. Most of their regulations do nothing for the environment, it's about money, power and control.

I enjoy watching your videos and they are very helpful. However, PLEASE find a place with "GOOD LIGHTING" to do your videos. Inside your building is just not a good place for producing videos. A lot of the details you are pointing to or talking about cannot really be seen. Maybe at least you can add some portable lighting in there to use when shooting videos. Keep up the good work with videos and as I said before, I am very pleased with all the DK products I have bought over the last 6 years. GREAT COMPANY with outstanding service after the sell. Question for Kevin, what terminals that the relay plugs into did you apply power to to make sure the fan worked before you installed? I'm guessing that's where he applied power to make sure the fan was good. Mine's already installed and the fan is not coming on and Jim's first response at the factory was to bypass the thermostat. I really don't want to do that if I don't have to. I need to start at square one and make sure the fan turns on with power applied to it. If that works then I guess I'll go ahead and assume the relay is ok and bypass the thermostat. I hate to assume but dang. Thank you!

At the 7:16 mark in the video you can see the connector that I am holding. That is where I checked the fan to make sure it was functioning prior to the installation. I did not test the relay prior to installation. Maybe I should have, but I did not.

@DKCustomProducts
@DKCustomProducts 9 ай бұрын
:Loaded question. Back a few years ago the Mighty-Mites worked a little better than the ForceFlow. BUT, Love Jugs has gone downhill. The owner died, the daughter took over, and quality, Customer Service, Warranty, and delivery are questionable at best. For the ForceFlow, there have been none available for the Twin Cam for almost a year, and they are saying that it will be the end of the year, at the soonest, before there are any for the TC. For the M8, they are only available in black right now, and there is a 1-3 week wait on those. With the Mighty-Mites in question, on my M8 I am running a FlorceFlow.

Will the fan fit on a 23 Softail break out? 117 Milwaukee eight
@DKCustomProducts
@DKCustomProducts 10 ай бұрын
In order to install the Forceflow on the M8 Softails, it is necessary to re-locate the coil. This Kit includes a turnkey coil relocation system to move the coil to the front of the motorcycle inconspicuously tucked underneath the neck of the bike, in-between the frame tubes. This new mounting system allows the Forceflow to be installed on all Milwaukee Eight Softail motorcycles. Non-stock components that are installed in this area, under the neck, may conflict with the coil relocation, this Includes the Harley Brand Engine Guard. The coil cannot be relocated for the Force Flow if an Engine Guard is installed.
