After sixteen hours of work, I'm finally done! Here's "Life" a 24"x 36" acrylic painting on a black gallery wrapped canvas. The video is a little bit longer than usual, but it was important for me to show you my whole creative process. When I started painting, the only idea I had in mind was to paint a coral reef. Then, I let my imagination guide me! That's why sometimes I go over some parts many times, changing my mind as paint. When I create a painting like this one, I tell a story. When you see the final result it's like I paused the story at a certain time, but it continues evolving in my head for a long time. Since you can see me paint from the beginning in this video, you can understand more what I see in my mind. As I painted my underwater world, I could see rock formations coming out of the sea floor, plants growing over time, stairs being built by unknown creatures, breaking after many years of natural erosion... As you can see I have a vivid imagination. lol
I used high flow acrylics, liquid acrylics, acrylic inks and high viscosity paint for this artwork, mostly the same colors as in my last video.
