I grew up in the best era I was born in 1970 so the 80’s was my heyday and a few great movies at the time hit the box office about the military and the navy seals and the green berets the special forces in general so it put a want in me to join , my grandparents and great grandparents were soldiers , I remember going to the recruiting office in Staten Island and they drove me to Brooklyn to take the tests and medical and that’s when I was medically cut I had over 28 broken bones as a kid and a serious bacterial infection that damage parts of my body , I looked the part built of muscle and was strong but were it counted I failed but then I really got hit with a reality stick I have the biggest fear of the water lol I really mean fear I can’t even touch my toe into the water and all special forces have to go through water training so I guess I would have never made it to where I wanted to be … I am amazed when I watch navy seals go through water training it’s insane or if you work on a aircraft carrier you have to jump off the side into the open ocean and there is a soldier with a gun on the side looking down to scare off sharks when they get close lol yeah I would have failed horribly

@@reallyhappenings5597 directly behind the amphibious base you’d probably get told to beat feet unless you are military and were just catching some waves hanging with the fam you’re good. Between the amphibious base beach (where buds is) and say the hotel del Coronado where rock portage happens is all state beach. Anyone who is anyone can be there. It’s just really big closed out surf and cold as f@ck. Not sure why anyone would want to see kayak there. 😂🤣
