Don't overlook the fact that he says at the end: "If I were the devil, I would just keep on doing what he's doing." So, he didn't concoct this prophecy, he was simply telling us what was going on under our noses in 1965.

Great catch, I didn't notice that. I know your post is year old but I'm just finding this stuff 😂 I Want to Trust, I Want to Believe them, I Want them to Care..........But my instincts are telling me were ALL being played by both sides of the Gov and I have a feeling the gov are being played/used by a group above them. I have this feeling a triple play is about to occur and that's it 3 outs and on to the next inning/reset. Just a silly opinion but dang how do people not notice what's going on? How out of control Society has become. It feels like a prelude to mass crack downs. like haha we let you become crazy Lunatics and now we got you and can put an end to what we helped create for our own purposes. 🤣 does that even make any sense? 58 yrs, my daddy and momma listened to Mr. Harvey all the time, I always remember his voice and him saying at the very end Paul Harvey--Good Day! This broadcast was in the year I was born. I've always thought he was spot on. And it becomes even more true by the day, week, and year.. I had always thought that he died LOOONNNNG ago, and he passed away in 2009. Almost a whole year after his wife passed away.

The most important line is the last one, "I'd just keep right on doing what he's doing." This was originally written in 1964 - people thought the world was going to Hell then. Paul Harvey revised this in 1996, taking out the stuff about cocktail parties and women working in coal mines, and adding stuff about drug-sniffing dogs. The specifics may have changed a bit, but one thing was certain - the world was still going to Hell. I'm sure if Paul Harvey were still alive today, he would have revised it again at some point, probably removing the stuff he added in 1996 about gambling, and adding stuff about the internet, social media and virtual reality - because the world is still going to Hell today. With similar minor revisions, it could have been written in 1944 and it would still ring true. People have always thought the world is going to Hell, and they always will.
