Possibly my new favourite as Corsair have made a speed switch sound like a silent switch somehow (check sound test).
Always been pretty happy with Corsair quality but this one is the best so far. Surprised by how much I like low profile too. Definitely worth a look!

Low profile is all about comfort for me, this is especially true when using ctrl for crouching and having to hold it for an extended period of time. Nice to see more options for those of us who prefer low profile keycaps

Keyboards were super loud in the past then gone silent and cheap with membrane keyboards and now are "coming back" (they were always here)

But with keyboards I find I got so much from going from a "normal" charry key keyboard to one with the speed/rapid-fire in games and with typing! It made a world of difference to me! :-) I hope so much Corsair make a K65 low profile rapid-fire!

Excellent into, I started watching your channel to decide what mouse to upgrade to and have ever since been very happy with the G403. I'm not looking for a keyboard really ever again as the vortext race 3 is my go to for the foreseeable future, but I still watch all your videos just to hear your insights, keep up the great work.

I’m thinking about buying it especially since it’s $60 off at bestbuy. I’m pretty new to pc’s so I don’t have a good keyboard yet (currently using a hybrid keyboard - from cougar mouse + keyboard bundle). How’s the experience when just casually using it? Do you find yourself accidentally pressing keys?

Finally a mech board I can use! I've bought a dozen and a half or so at this point and returned them all pretty quickly, always felt like they were way too high and the wrist rest was just an awkward bulky addition to my desk which made it too hard to reposition my keyboard when I recline in my chair.

Yeah still love this one, my favourite typing experience and great for streaming. That said, if you can afford a Logitech G915, it's basically the same and wireless. Not quite as good for typing but still worth it for me.

You should do side by side shots of low profile KBs versus normal ones so we can see how much lower the top of the keys are versus normal ones. Most of us gamers using low profile mech kbs are doing so because of additional comfort for things like prolonged holding of keys like [CTRL] and the like. We care about the overall height from the desk to the top of the keys likely more than we do how loud they are considering how switches can be changed.

i have the k95 rgb platinum. amazing keyboard...... until I spilled a full cup of soda on it like 2 months after I got it. my heart stopped for a couple seconds after it happened. did some extreme cleaning the days after, but some keys are still a little sticky. life is tough man

Always put your drinks between your monitor and your keyboard _NEVER_ between your hands and the keyboard - this rule has saved me, ever since making the same mistake once : ]

I have a K65 and I noticed that the spacebar rattles/clicks a bit as well. Putting some o-rings on the stabilizers seems to have reduced it substantially, but it did make it a little mushy feeling. I'm not sure if that keyboard has a space large enough spacers for them to fit, but it worked on mine.

Cooler Master released a new mouse pad recently ( MP510) and they say it is an upgrade in every way. ( most likely referring to their Rx mousepads) and it's available in XL form.

Hello Rocket Jump, since you have reviewed so many keyboards, any chance that you can tell me a list of a couple of Mechanical Keyboards that have "wire stabilizers" in/on their SPACE BARS? I know the Hyperx FPS and the, Razer Lineup (almost all of their top ones) have, but do you know of any other Brand/Model that has them. I love the sound of the spacebar that has the stabilizers as it doesn't have that cheap plastic ping on them, just sounds nice and solid. Thanks.

I wanted to save money at first and started saving money for this keyboard, it looked awesome and thin from the pictures from online. My goal was to buy a quieter keyboard because my roommate do not like noises (a guy who does not like sound of mechanical keyboard, weird). But now i feel like the switches on this keyboard have not much difference from red switches, plus less travel distance feel better when typing codes but not awesome when gaming. I will go with red switch with o ring cause does not look a lot of difference and no need for me to pay more than 200 bucks for a keyboard anymore. thank you for the review!

Is it possible to get these low key caps separated? I always had problems with the r-ctrl key on my K65. I press the key too often while gaming with my outer side hand palm

Each to his own. But I prefer the font on the low profile version much better. The letters are so much easier to read and the light shines through better.

Would like to state that there is a common issue on Corsair RGBs whereby once these keyboards get older, quite a number of keys have problems with their rgb lights. Mine isn't displaying the red colour on F5, 5,T,G,V,right SHIFT,NUM LOCK and NUMPAD 6. Mine is 4 years old but there are people complaining about this as early as two months. Soft or hard resets don't work.

Great review on the Corsair K70 Mark 2 Low Profile RGB Mechanical Keyboard! (damn that name is a mouthful, jesus christ) P.S Key chatter is when the debounce of the key switch is malfunctioning, therefore actuating more than once when pressing the key switch once. However, you're right that this keyboard is quiter when rubbing your hand over it. Just wanted to get that out of the way because some people may misunderstand key chatter as one or the other, and I'm just here to clarify! :D

The reason for the sound, isn't that because of the key caps hitting the metal body? I too hate the sound, so I would love to see them implement a damping mechanism. Maybe you could even DIY one?

You should real have mentioned that *it has non standard bottom row* meaning if you ever wanna change keycaps you have to buy specific layout for k70.

That ping sound would drive me mad, I returned Logitechs Romer-G keyboard because of that. Currently I am using MX Red keyboard and I am waiting for high quality scissor switch gaming keyboard.

I bought one today and I've been using my laptop kb the whole time I've been playing and now it feels completely different and my timing is completely off but I'm not saying it's because of the mech kb but it's because it gives a very different feel.

It's only quieter because of the keycap height and switch height. Less empty space for sound to travel and reverberate.

You have a point. Type of Keycaps do play a role in noise. My experience is some reason PBT sounds quieter as well compared to ABS.

0:45 I can not recommend the k95 enough... £100 mechanical keyboard (cherry mx red, blue or brown) with media keys, palm rest and 18 macro keys :0 It’s a rly awesome keyboard 👍
