I don't think you have to worry about boring us Peter. We are all here because of our interest in the process of bonsai Personally, I am a perfectionist, and am trying to use bonsai to feel comfortable with flaw. I like to see your entire process, and how long it takes I also find it calming and sort of meditative to watch you work

Even if the video runs an hour or more, it is always interesting, as well as a wonderful learning opportunity. That lady with You just stole my heart ❤️, talking to her tree and i can relate to that. I am a spinner and collect old spinning wheels and as i was bringing home a very neglected wheel once, I talked to her saying “don’t worry I’m going to take care of You 🥰. Needless to say, my husband looked at me as he raised a eyebrow. After some years he grew accustomed to it😍

Peter, I consider it to be a treat to see you work with a tree that you haven't seen in person prior to you working on it. At least with your trees on the nursery you see them and have time to consider ideas regarding the future potential for training. The cedar is one that you as you suggested were starting from scratch with. It would seem that you took more consideration regarding your decision(s) how you were going to proceed with the tree. Seeing even you presented with the challenge of working with a tree that even you contend with more of a challenge is well worth the time to watch. Again, I consider that as a treat. :-)

Adding my two cents: There's no doubt an upward limit on what is a reasonable length for a video, but you shouldn't worry, you're not near it. I feel I learn something by watching exactly what you do, every aspect, and as others have pointed out anyone lacking patience probably isn't going to be interested in bonsai in the first place.
