Disney have hurt the brand so much.. they don't need bad press. The mods actually promote their star wars brand and help keep it popular and current. Free advertising. If they attacked modders the backlash toward Disney would be extreme

Have they sued over the Star Wars mods in FO4 or Skyrim? I doubt they will sue now.

The Star Wars mods are made by people that love Star Wars. Forcing Bethesda to take down those mods down would be a slap in the fans face. But nothing would surprise me.

I think free advertisement for Star Wars is better than none at all. If Disney counters Bethesda over a mod idk if the fans will still stay for Star Wars especially with the new Star Wars game coming out. Free advertising is the best at this point. This is all good for both parties, not just beneficial for Bethesda.

If they actually would sue they would have to sue all the other games that have Star Wars mods, starfield may be the newest but there been many other games with similar mods.

Hey man, congratulations on the newest member of your family! And I totally agree I can’t even count as the acolyte as canon. I thought the sequels were bad. I had no idea. Also I feel the same way. I haven’t been this excited about playing a Star Wars game since I was a little kid and this isn’t even a Star Wars game lol 😂It truly is a testament to how amazing the game is! If they want Star Wars to stay relevant, they won’t mess with mods. I agree this is the last lifeline for Star Wars.

I doubt it I’ve had Death Star and saber mods on Skyrim for years now, I feel if they were going to do something about it they already would have but Disney is garbage so who really knows anymore.

It is not wither it would be good for Disney or the community or ect., it's about if some hare-brained executive over at Disney THINKS it might be a "good idea". Yea, considering Disney's current state I'd say it was an above average chance Disney might try. Personally, I find it hilarious that the most used option to cover up Bethesda's failed IP is to use another failing IP for replacements. It would be a complete devastation of what little player-count Bethesda does have. Also, I don't think it will involve a court action per se, Bethesda and Nexus will both absolutely follow take-down notices to remove the mods. After all Bethesda/Nexus didn't make them, did they?

Nah I think you fell for a psyop, as this would mean the moding community on dozens of games would be at risk for putting in SW stuff. It also would have been done alot earlier then this as well if you take that in to consideration.
