You were correct, "Andy" grew up to be Executive Andrew Kilgore. And it was 100 years because the event happened in 2004 and Ted was in 2104. Also whenever I rewatch this I just feel so bad for Andy, like the woman he loved is just gone out of nowhere, and he's permanently disabled from Ted's beating. And Andy seemed like such a sweetheart too.

The one plothole in this story is the fact that its a self fulfilling loop. If the time travel only happens during paul and emmas wedding, then the homeless man shouldnt exist in tgwdlm and black friday. I guess you could say that its different because different timelines but it would mean that: A) an actual homeless man, separate from ted, exists in some timelines, but that would be impossible because the timeline branches at janes death, and B) the event's causation temporal location takes priority over the event itself in deciding wether it happens in a timeline or not.

i think it was said at one point that every homeless man has been ted the whole time i like to think of it like a fork in the road. one timeline had an actual, physical split at one point for some reason, and now there are several timelines branching off that are all occurring. because ted went back in time to before the timeline was split, there is now a homeless man in all timelines.

I think the creation of the temporal rift at CCRP might be what caused the timelines to split. So because Ted travelled to a point in time before the split, he exists as the homeless man in every timeline.

I think the time travel can happen in different timelines in slightly different ways. Much like how Paul and Emma get together in different timelines in different ways.

That's what I'm saying... maybe the split happened long ago and ted still went forward and crossed universes. I loved the story but I still can't get passed the plothole
