These walk ups and walk downs are used in Country music however they also work great in Pop and Rock music. The "Floyd Lick" is such a simple thing that adds so much! It's truly a "more with less" type style that is unmistakably Floyd Kramer. Also, Professor Longhair had an instantly recognizable sound that, hopefully, you could cover in a future video. I've learned so much from your channel!

It is a reference to Floyd Cramer the famous country piano player who was the creator of the "slip note" piano style!! Thanks for watching!!

@@UniverseofKeys Floyd recorded the song Last Date in 1960. I was 10 years old then and had been talking piano lessons for about 4 years. His style made its way into my bag of licks.
