Thank you for this video. I bought this system last year and Still haven't installed it. We are installing it this week though but i discovered once I opened the box, that the instructions are missing and God alone knows where we put them. I needed clear, concise instructions for installation and you provided them. Thanks again.

You're welcome. I just wanted to give you a heads up on this door though. Watch my video a few months after this one. This door killed a few of my chickens. Even on the lowest setting, it was still too strong and crushed them. I have a different type of door now.

Thanks for posting this. I don't like "store bought" systems like these but this system seems very nice. I like the fact that it has plugs for all the components to make it easy for the customer to install, yet at the same time I don't like it. If you want to extend, shorten or replace components then, screw terminals would definitely be better. In your case, you were able to easily move the box to the window side. Others may not be able to. Being able to just extend the wire would be very helpful. I personally like to have separate components aka two separate timers and photocell Module. That way I can replace parts not the whole system. It cheaper too.

It is no longer attached to my coop. I took it off when it crushed two of my chickens. The actuator was too strong and the sensor was not sensitive enough. The company, Happy Hen House, made everything right and sent me on that is operated by a sting. That one works perfectly and I have had it ever since.
