You never really see people using reason and rationality to argue against Public health care. Instead the weapon of choice is fear. You won't get procedures, you will have to wait forever, there will be no private option. YOU ARE GOING TO DIE. People don't want to pay for other peoples health care but that is what Insurance Literally Is. They still pool all of the clients money together to pay for procedures when they are needed. The many help the few. The only difference is that with insurance companies you have a middle man trying to make a profit. How do you make a profit? You don't spend money on sick and dying people. It seems kind of obvious that Profits should not be an issue when dealing in the health care of the people.

I want a palette cleanser learning about all this shit on a daily basis, but I feel like if I do something to forget this stuff it'll prevent me from acting on all this building outrage.

I love the nonchalant way the news is shown on this series, a contrast to the uptight style that normal television outlets take. It's definitely there to cater towards a younger, more newer audience, who care less for formalities and regulations.
