That kabura you put over at 4.25. We use lures very similar to those in New Zealand without bait . Deadly on big snapper up to 24lb

Well done Dom. I am going out tomorrow night, only problem is our daylight saving, I don't leave till 10pm. Heads up, keep those small bone cutouts, perfect bait size. Cheers..........

great fishing again Dom and not far from the beach it looks....what size drift anchor are you using??? keep up that whiting fishing. used to love those old fishing trips you did around Freo catching big sandies and kg's there....

Hey Dom, I have watched keenly how you sometimes use google maps to position yourself onto areas of weed banks/sand. I think I have worked out how to do it, but the satellite image I have on my google maps doesn't show that kind of detail. It looks like the image was taken with the sun overhead on a windy day, so the ocean is reflecting all that light. Do you have any tips or tricks in this regard? I am fishing in the same(ish) area as you.

I use the sounder on cloudy days to distinguish weedy areas..and google maps as a backup. Sand areas surrounded by weed us what I look for

Hi Dom Those lures are widely available, those blobby ones you have and longer ones (more for jigging) I think are Kaburas. I'm surprised they are not in your shops, Blue Water tackle etc. I'm v jealous of those KGs, you have really got good at catching those.
