It's been 10 years since unheralded Butler, led by a young Brad Stevens and Gordon Hayward, gave Mike Krzyzewski and the Duke Blue Devils all they could handle in the final game of March Madness in 2010. Coach Nick is also joined by Shelvin Mack, an 8 year NBA veteran and starting guard on that Butler team, to discuss key plays from the game. #NCAABasketball #MarchMadness #FinalFour

Everytime I see him, especially the first time, I always think "how is someone this young an nba coach??" As of now I still dont know how old he is, it i took a wild guess I'd say 40 at most? Honestly he looks and could be 34? I'll look it up right now. Edit: just looked it up and he's 43.. wow. He has the aging gene's of a black person. Can't fathom how hes older then 40. Like I said everytime i saw him i thought it was really weird to see such a young nba coach. He looks younger then a majority of his players!

@@rtoujr fuck yeah, bro! Just know that American conservatives are behind you. Anyone else saying anything different is just spitting propaganda. The reason Duke played "1990s basketball" is because they had three amazing perimeter players and then their next best players were non-scoring bigs. If you go back two seasons to 2008, you'll see Duke playing run-and-gun D'Antoni ball. A 6'4" DeMarcus Nelson played freaking power forward that season. By college standards that team was way ahead of the curve. It's also worth noting that Duke basically invented the college version of the stretch 4 with Ferry all the way back in 1986. K plays to his personnel. And sometimes that looks innovative and sometimes it doesn't. Should he have had Lance Thomas shoot threes? Should he have thrown a freshman Andre Dawkins into the fire?

If that shot would have went in, that Villinova game winner vs North Carolina would have been just another game winner, Hayward shot thst from half court, that would've been a true true underdog story about a little known d1 school out of Indiana vs who most consider the "program" of all programs and that self righteous prick Coach K. It would have truly been the greatest moment in sports history, better than the flu game, Jordan last shot, Lorenzo Charles alley oop vs Houston, Lattner buzzer beater, any sporting event moment because of 3 reasons 1. its for the national championship 2. its Duke 3. none of us knew where Butler was in the U.S or who the coach was or the players. Those 3 reasons along with that shot going in, it would've been the greatest moment in sports history

In the final minute Zoubek: 1) disrupts the inbounds, making Butler use their last timeout 2) knocks the ball out of bounds 3) contests Hayward's baseline shot forcing him into a fadeaway 4) grabs the defensive rebound 5) makes the first FT 6) misses the second and immediately hedges on Hayward, slowing him down and making him shoot from further away But no. Duke did nothing right, did they? What a fucking hatchet job this video is. I was genuinely excited about it because I love your channel. But you couldn't even attempt to make something balanced.

rome8180 yeah, fair, suppose its very much a personal preference at the end of the day. But I could happily say that if I had the talent stevens has, I wouldn’t waste it coaching college kids either. I would make a push for to be the best coach in the NBA if it means detrimentally lowering my number of awards at the end of my career.

This video was so biased and poorly done. I’m super disappointed.

This video made me hate duke a little bit. Dirty plays, sloppy play, and missed calls all in favor of the bigger organization. 🙁

Yeah, the hatchet job worked then. You really don't think Butler got any calls in their favor? No, Coach Nick just picked out the 4-5 calls that fit his narrative. Notice he calls the illegal screen Matt Howard sets as a "crushing screen." He doesn't call it illegal. If you watched Butler in college, Howard was one of the dirtiest players ever. And Butler's defense was right up there with current UVA in terms of handsiness. They grabbed constantly, but because they were the "scrappy underdogs" no one called them out on it.

Yes because the video is edited that way. You people are so gullible it's ridiculous. Nobody in history has won a National fucking Championship because of favorable officiating.
