Tristan does something more people should be able to do; he understands his place and his role, without an ego. He’s said so himself that he likes being the support while Andrew is the face and primary mastermind. He’s proud of it too. That doesn’t make him weak or lesser than. Without your spine, you’d be immobilised. Andrew said his time in prison would’ve been far harsher without Tristan, since his supportive role enabled him to soothe their time there. They’d both fall apart without each other, and each one understands his role perfectly. That’s why they’re a powerful team, since both are individually strong, but unstoppable together. Logan would never willingly go to jail to be with Jake if he isn’t getting arrested too.

Na it was a smart move by Tristan to go with his brother If they took Andrew alone, he could’ve suffered an “accident” and passed and no one could claim to know better With tristan there, they couldn’t mess with Andrew without messing with Tristan…if they both have an “accident” we would know they got set up, if only Andrew had an accident, Tristan would’ve been able to witness it, so their best choice was to just have them sit in jail. The stupid thing about the Paul Brothers dynamic is this idea that they have to be against each other to be their best versions of themselves. Arnold was the goat but he never had any beef with Franco columbo. They were partners and excelled on their own but used their brotherhood to their advantage. The Paul brothers I think would kick the other whilst they’re down to get ahead when they don’t realise they can help eachother and be stronger than if they were alone. That’s what having a strong brother dynamic can do.

You have the tates who grew up with pretty much nothing. Had to TRULY grind out of that life by literally fighting there way to the top. Which meant becoming a team. From how you describe Logan and Jake's parent and their upbringing, there is a theatrical masterpiece which has been recently released called 'Money game 3' which fits or would resonate very well with Jake or logan and I would fully encourage you to view this as can potentially be very eye opening into how some peoples personas are developed. To play someones Robbin, you have to completely trust them in various dimensions. Trust they have your back. My guess is judging from Logan's character he's always been a shit brother to Jake and therefore that utter trust of if i leave it to you, I know you'll do the right thing doesn't exist. It's not because Jake is hyper competitive, its because Logan is untrustworthy and has questionable character. Also for that dynamic to work, Batman has to be more capable than Robbin, I don't think that's necessary the case with the Pauls. Look at Tommy from Peaky Blinders... simply put, you have to be a capable person for that dynamic to exist.

With all due respects to Vinny his comments at 9.00 portray a very insular mindset held by so man Americans. He automatically thinks that because a prison is in Romania and not in America that it's more challenging or dangerous. Or the fact that the country is non English speaking that it's worse than an American prison. Prison is hard no matter where it is but I'm from an English speaking country and trust me, I'd rather do time in Romania than a prison in the U.S. anyday
