I swear on everything my philosophy about game bred pits are the same as his. I’ve been talking like this for decades now. Congratulations man I think it’s awesome that you are doing this. 1. You had to work extremely hard to get yourself into a financial situation to do this. 2.) you stayed focused and didn’t cut corners. 3.) you stayed loyal to your dogs and stuck with it for decades if not longer. I see years and years of hard work on his yard tours. I always told my friends that are into these breeds . We don’t need big bandogs but what should be produced is a bigger but balanced game bred pit. That’s the perfect dog

I have put together the following list of characteristics and traits and was wondering what order you would prioritise them when selecting for breeding aiming to produce in your dogs? - Conformation/ structure /appearance. - Health / vigour - Temperament / soundness - Bidability/ trainablity - Determination/ Perseverance - Loyalty - Prey drive - Fight Drive - Defence Drive - Gameness - Pride - Sociability I understand that some of these may overlap however which of the above would you say are primitive traits and which are derived. Your assistance hear would be greatly appreciated. One day in the future I intend to apply this research to my own program once I’ve learned enough to do the working line GSD breed justice.
