Нужно не забывать что для того чтобы так делать нужно подобрать одинаковый тип пластика. Так, же есть спец инструмент для спаивания пластика при помощи разных скоб.

In case I couldn't find any plastic piece. I usually cut a piece of plastic at invisible area of the broken plastic part

Yes ive done this repairing crack few years back with different approach instead of just melting it i actually put super glue then bore holes along the side of cracks then sewing it with the copper wire then apply heat gun then super glue again

Scrape off any burrs, put a piece of tape on the under side, fill with epoxy and scrape level with a business card. What you are doing saves neither time or money.

i learned some good tricks from your video. another approach would be to use a 3D pen, kind of a 3D printer in a compact pen format. you can fill ab gaps between plasik parts.
