Yes I got ANOTHER new animal! Meet Tiki my new little Crested Gecko! I made his background completely from scratch and this was my first time trying something like this! This is NOT a tutorial on how to do this but just a video showing how I did it! I will be doing tutorials on tank builds in the future so watch out for those!

I've been wanting to do something like this, but I've been worried about cleaning the pieces that are foamed to the back. Wouldn't the poop/pee eventually build up and ruin anything (aka log hides or branches) that can't be removed?

I don't have a problem with that with my little crested because he likes to poop over the side so it won't get on the things he likes to be on or in... but if you just mist it down with water and let it soak the poop/pee will just run off on its own!

People should give you credit where credit is due. You are very talented and obviously love your babies. Great vids! Thinking about getting a reptile. I'm thinking bearded dragon or some kind of lizard. Or a tortoise. Not sure yet. What would you choose for your first reptile? Knowing what you know now.

Eric Thompson Thank you so much! And my first reptile was a bearded dragon actually! They are really easy and fun, plus they have amazing personalities! I would definitely recommend getting a bearded for sure!

Briana B. Thank you for your quick reply. I am amazed by all these vids on KZfaq. I never knew all these animals could be pets. Any recommendations of where I should get all the things I need for a healthy beardy? I know that its probably a bunch of different sources. But maybe where I should start? Does the sex of them matter as to their temperment? Does one live longer than the other? I'm not wanting to get a pet then get attatched to it and in a year die on me. You know what I mean?

Eric Thompson Yeah I totally understand! I would definitely check out reptile expos near you because you can get a lot of things there for cheap and the reptiles there come from reputable breeders! Other than that I would say check out pet stores for items! Females can become egg bound not always but can so if you are nervous about dealing with that I would get a male! And honestly I personally haven't noticed a difference in behavior between male and female... but you have to remember just like people all beardeds are different!
