I think an explanation on calling Rex a beta is needed. He is a badass, no questions, but i just pointed on the in-lore genetic clone army hierarchy complications. Despite being skillfull warrior and a good tactician, Rex is still an ordinary clone of Jango. While specially raised RCs, Null ARCs and positively mutated individuals like 99s treated (explicitly or not) all another clones as regs/grunts/betas

This makes me want to rewatch BB. If only it was more closely focused on just the BB without any filler it’d be one of if not the best piece of modern SW media. Also I don’t remember him removing his chip but I guess I don’t remember all that much.
