Secondly , I have Bolton 10" woofer 8 ohm 60W Model 25 JW 22, Bolton Midrange 8 ohm 60 W Model 12 PM 2 & Philips Dome tweeter . I am looking for a suitable 3 way cross over to listen to the ONKYO AV Receiver in stereo mode. Please tell us can we add 4 ohm 100w 10" and 8" mid two speaker and 4" tweeter is there any effect on impedance or it will change into 2 ohm our amp support 4 ohm.
@makingloudspeaker
@makingloudspeaker 3 жыл бұрын
If your mid speakers are 8 ohms, then you can join in parallel to get 4 ohms. If those are 4 ohms then connect a 2 ohms 20 watt resistor in series.

Crossover network is used for frequency separation. You can use one or two woofers for the same cut off frequency. The network shown can handle upto 100 watt. For more power, the resistor wattage to be increased.
