+Manuel Tumamao Yes he too--- both had been appointee of former Pres. Marcos, the difference is that, Atty. Cuevas worked for the govt. He became Sec.of Justice under Pres. Estrada and a retired Associate Justice for the Supreme Court whereas Atty.Mendoza chose to have a private practice instead. These men are among the best and most elite lawyers of this country.

The defense is not stupid, they do their best but this trial is politically driven. From the start of the trial is already stupid, omitting some assets from the saln is not ground for impeachment. Try to listen to MDS for you to be enlightened. Morales here is a witness but she is a witness that could ask a questions that is why she was called by MDS while cross examining her and admitted for her fault. High tingin nya sa sarili nya, witness sya dito hindi judge at hindi nya office to. Cross examined c Morales dito for her functions and details of the documents presented bakit parang nahirapan o ayaw nyang sagutin.

It is simply because Former Ombudsman Carpio-Morales knows her law. She knows how to properly utilize the powers made available to her by the Constitution and the various legislations made by Congress.

@@depositariogearomme5662 that's not allegations dear, the ALMC forwarded a 7 page documents of financial and related transaction of the chief justice in fact the chief justice himself authorised the ombudsman to look from his SALN before the time he join the government up to the present, and the chief justice did not declared his SALN and that is violation under section 3 of the graft and corrupt practice's act and betrayal to the public trust.

Actually it is acceptable considering the contents of said document came from another source, which is an official agency. The Ombudsman was clearly the middleman in this. And yes, she just said that the documents were delivered to her by the head of AMLC himself. Did you not watch?

Takot siya kay Ombudsman dahil strict yan si Conchita sa mga corrupt. It was Conchita Morales herself that sent Enrile to jail.

Iba talaga pag matalinong tunay, hindi kayang paikutan ng hyped up matalino. I pity the people who keep praising Cuevas here when he is obviously getting thrashed by Conchita. I have no doubt Cuevas is a brilliant lawyer, but it's clear that he's resorting to petty technicalities to try to sway the opinion of the less intelligent public.
