When i put my pie in the fridge why does the topping become runny and when i cut a piece the condense milk topping slides off the custard..any idea why it does that and what should i do instead?
@myfijikitchen6 ай бұрын
You will need to make your custard more thick - with condensed milk it does get runny but that’s how we are used to having in Fiji. What you can do is make your custard pie and when you serve then add condensed milk and sprinkle with nuts or decorate with peaches

You need to squeeze lemon into your condensed until it gets thickens before you actually pour your condensed onto the custard .The lemon stops the condensed from runny
