With that same logic in mind, the Endeavour had enough fire-power to blow both pirate ships to smithereens. If only Beckett ordered to 'Return fire' or 'Fire at will'.

@@Vikingr4Jesus5919 it doesn't matter, even if the black pearl were to be destroyed and all the crew died, the flying dutchman would be enough to destroy them and if only william is left, he can slaughter them all, but from another point of view becket was the best antagonist , I was very good at school, I graduated, while I was doing different jobs from the age of 14 with small wages, I didn't know smoking, alcohol, gambling, whores, I wasn't afraid of anything, I was waiting for life to hit me and I wouldn't give up, at one point it hit me and I fell at my weakest point that I didn't believe I would fall and it took me 1 year and 5 months to get out of this situation, in the beginning 2 months I froze, because just like Becket, who was once again one of the most powerful people at a young age and successful by preparing for every kind of thing (so he is an overthinker), this is the reason why he come to the highest positions very quickly but at the moment the first time he was found unprepared, he froze in place and couldn't give a simple order, that's it, but I still say he's the best villian because in the end he was the only person who stood up to Jack, he wasn't even cursed. not even a ghost, only a man, and only a man without any magical power, like a blackbeard 🤣🤣🤣

It's a ghost ship, nothing makes sense if you think about it Furthermore, if the pearl falls, the Dutchman can revive it along with his crew, they are basically immortal. That's why Jack owed something to Jones, if it weren't for him, the Pearl would still be at the bottom of the ocean.

if you saw the movies you would know that both ships are kind of mythically overpowered. they arent just normal ships. expecially the dutchman, im pretty sure the flying duthman is unsinkable.

You realize that companies are still incredibly exploitative, and were especially in the early 18th century, ESPECIALLY given that Beckett works for the real life East India Company which was notoriously brutal in India

Part of Beckett's business in the movie is slave trading and is in fact the very reason why the series' storyline begins anyway, since Jack freed a hundred slaves when he was a captain under Beckett's command which led to Beckett burning Jack's ship that would later be salvaged by Davy Jones as the Black Pearl.

The fact that they made Beckett this evil SOB while constantly quoting "It's just business" or "It's business" Only proves the point I'm making. It is the biggest trope in Hollywood. You should also watch along side this the video by TIKhistory titled "Analyzing Nazi Propaganda Images." He eventually makes an interesting twist two thirds of the way into the video which is very relevant to the other video I'm speaking of. On how people are conditioned, both are grade A videos.
