I made cold process soap with a water discount to 14% water and used rhassoul clay for coloring which combined with the essential oil blend with florals, created extreme acceleration. This was a big mistake to have such a large water discount, combined with a floral essential oil, which is known to accelerate saponification. 
The minute I added the lye water I wound up having to slam the soap into the mold and shove it in by the handfuls with my gloved hands. It turned into what we call “soap on a stick”. It saponified fine in the end, but has big air pockets at the edges. I don’t sell soap with holes…
I used a new custom formulation of essential oils for fragrance which I created with my friend Robert of KC Soaparee. The essential oils are tangerine, spearmint, frankincense, sandalwood, thyme, peppermint, and geranium. It is an interesting and nice scent blend.
