Very nice work, I am loving the stencils!! A cap full of hydrogen peroxide in the final rinse water will give you the fully oxidized deep blue in seconds as opposed to hours. Friendly tip so you will show some more! 👍👍

Thank you! and....Thanks for the tip! I did see that you could do that - but needed one less complication in filming the process since I rinsed in a few different locations! I am so excited to make more of these when the sun is bright again, and I think I will def use the peroxide to make it go faster! Though, it's really fun to watch them change.

How much of a challenge was it to rinse these papers? I know that the vintage paper can be very delicate and with the cyanotype solution you need to rinse after developing. Great video. Thanks for sharing.

It really wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought it would be! I did choose papers that weren't too brittle or thin - but even the more brittle ledger pages I used (because I wanted their fun size) did ok! of all the pages, I ripped only one of them, and I think it was when I was being a little too careless moving it around when it was wet. I was careful washing them out - I used my sink or a large plastic tub, depending on where I was at outside. One of the music sheets I used was really thin and crumpled a bit in the water, but I was able to unfold it and it turned out ok!
