Hey I love build, but you mention the severance mod slots can be unequiped. I have a katana I want to use it but I may want to unequipe eventually are you sure can unequipe it? And if so, please explain how, thank you in advance!

I've been playing pistols/snipers/katanas with a Sandevistan and it's amazing. My favorite pistol is Pride. That thing with a silencer on it just deletes heads. For snipers, I use Overwatch for stealth shooting and Breakthrough for when I get spotted and need to shoot everyone through walls. I also carry the O'Five around for when the shit really hits the fan. I didn't like Sparky because the scope sucks and you can't change it.

I love my Katana Handgun build. I went 15 body instead of intelligence. Mixing adrenaline with sandevistan hyperspeed is insane. The INT build looks extremely useful, fun, and powerful too, just wasn't so into the hacking on this runthru. Next run im goin full netrunner. Honestly, with how they built the game after 2.0 you really can't go wrong as long as u pick a path.

What handgun and katanas do you use? I also assume you use sandevistan and 20 reflex, 20 cool, and 20 technical ability? and the rest into your body?

@@sammorossi Right now I'm using both jackies guns with as many headshot modifiers as possible, switching between them basically gives infinite ammo. And I'm using the Errata fire katana. 20 tech, 20 cool, 20 ref, 15 body, int is useless with this build. The iconic sandevestan.

Air dash ability is great especially when “Call Vehicle” feature doesn’t work…for me, this happens 90% of the time after the 2.0 update. Cool build btw, give this a try in my next build.🙃

I made a similar build, 20 in reflexes, tech, and cool. 18 in body and 3 in intelligence. get blood pump implant and the adrenaline rush perk from body

This is literally the build I was going for but yours has some of the nuance I feel like I was missing thank you! I was doing a corpo netrunner builder but like you said the quick hack stuff is cool and pretty overpowered but i just didnt like the gameplay so I made a new toon reflective of what I did with my build prior to 2.0 but was getting a little lost with all the new stuff but this really gave me a wider perspective definitely gonna consider alot of this for my build

If you bought your katana you can have 2 mod slots. Go to the melee weapons dealer look at the inventory but don't buy. Back out the menu and save then load the save.

@DubstopherWubson13 Go to a vendor - look at the inventory - if there isn't the item you want: back out - save the game - reload the game - check back with the vendor

Very cool vid. This has been my main style most of the game as well mantis blades included. Rifles shotguns and others never felt right for my streetkid. This build alwaya felt appropriate with my story

This build looks great, I want to play with katanas as well but was really stuck on what guns I would pair with the play style. I think pistols and snipers will be the way I go!

If you use Adreno-Trigger, the relic perk with Optical camo (resets the combat when used) should be pretty useful. It could give you another 60 second from A. trigger.

I'm a little confused the link to the builder has 15 pts in Body and only 4 in Intelligence, but the video shows the opposite. What perks did you use in the body build using 15? thanks and nice video!

in the video i explain, why I have 15 in intelligence and why I'd rather go with body. ultimately it doesn't make that much if a difference, because I don't put any more perk points in, except those I explain in the video. you could save that points i used for stealth, and the put some points into body, but that's up to you. intelligence just doesn't make any sense at all, if you plan on using a sandevistan over a Cyberdeck

I only play on normal so my latest playthrough is a netrunner solo 😂 . I do wuick hacks for fun and entertainment to watch cyberpsychosis and contagion then when i get bored run in like a mad man and shotgun and grenade everyone haha Im netrunner/terminator

Funny because like you I started out wanting to do a katana hacking samurai build but have transitioned over to something just like this except am leveraging my 15 INT for smart weapons, but might unspec those perks since with a sandy it’s kind of not necessary.

smart weapons are nice for a bit, but to me the gameplay becomes very stale eventually. Definitely good for leveling though 👌

Another question ….in “cool” section, the perk that affects only pistols etc.. The pistols is intended as every pistols? Like smart, technological etc? Or only “classic” one? Thanks

basically any sandevistan. it doesn‘t really matter. or you go the same route as I did and level as a pistol-netrunner with cyberdeck and kerenzikov 👍👍

the damage drop-off is pretty minimal. the recipe can be found in dog town near the heavy hearts

14:00 Since this build uses a melee bladed weapon as the main damage source, don't Mantis Blades become redundant (especially once you've picked up the movement perks from Reflexes)? Wouldn't Gorilla Arms be a better "quality of life" option, allowing you to access at least some extra routes when you're trying to be stealthy?

Why would gorilla arms help you better with stealth? There’s zero reason to use mantis blades, gorilla arms, mono wire, if you have a katana, unless it’s for role-play purposes or doing the boxing quests

it would work for both. your katana can slot mods. and i personally like wielding a katana more than using mantis blades

The key difference is that katana is way better for attack speed and damage. No reason to use mantis blades

Technical help me with the intelligence a body I use for heal and the shotgun I use Nash shotgun most of the time while I play it I didn’t care for reflexes or cool cause I can’t stealth or sneak to save my life. And I really don’t dash so I can say I’m a David Martinez character

I wouldn't call this a kill bill build since it uses the Sandevistan, kill bill would be max sword reflexes, beserk, and kereznekov

actually it doesn't make any real difference if you use kerenzikov or the sandy to slow down time. the effect is exactly the same. the only difference is how you activate it and that the sandy has some valuably bonuses and is active way longer.

I honestly don't understand the appeal of using sandevistan and just holding M1 on npcs that don't shoot back lol. Seems like that kind of build gets old fast.

it does not :) it can be challenging - like I said especially in larger enemy groups or the gang specific hideouts in phantom liberty. those can be pretty challenging because you always have to close the gap, whilst trying to avoid you're being hacked whilst always trying to kill enough goons to get a reset on your sandy and so on... a lot of micro management during the actual fight. or let's say: things to consider. but of course - as with any true endgame build: it's not that much of a challenge. I played with a pure stealth build, a netrunner build and a gorilla arms berserk build and the only challenge that remains in the late endgame at very high difficulty is the 5-star police chase. 🤷♂️

@TheGameSenseiYT I am going to start when the very last patch drops, i had friend at work that had to restart due to some graphic glitch they had no auto saves to go back, plus all gear atm I buy is epic/legendary ripperdocks almost sell me legendary cyberware so makes lot the low tier crafting components obsolete for me

@sekirotelcoin3336 yes you do, but still. they aren't worthless. but even more so: leveling with gigs and NCPD hustles I'd far more time consuming and you loot all the chests already where you could potentially get high tier crafting materials from, if you'd opened them on higher levels. so playing missions early on for greater XP rewards and leveling up faster and THEN doing all the open world stuff is far more lucrative.

yes. I previously was running as a Samurai Netrunner. As I mentioned in the video and reflected in the build guide in the pinned comment, I would rather put those points into a different category.

I don’t know what I’m don’t wrong but I play on Very Hard and if I try to kill someone with a katana I get bodied almost instantly. Also how does he swing so fast without the mod?

I have 1000+ armor. how high is your armor? also: I use Cyberware that increases melee attack speed (micro rotors) and 2 perks in reflexes increase the attack speed. level 2 of the finisher perk and the adjacent perk flash of steel

@Thatbeardedguy86 a melee build can be very challenging during leveling. you will have to get in and out of combat a lot and very fast. that's exactly why I was using quick hacks first and later on switched to this build. I'd advise you to use pistols as your main damage source and just go into melee if the enemies are weak already or if there are only a handful or they are scattered all over the area. you will have to assess the situation much more careful in the early game compared to late- / endgame.

That’s just how the game is if you don’t have mitigation perks or cyberware to block bullets. These with sandevistan turn it into easy mode

It's a shame that I can't play something like this on my computer. There are just too many buttons, you need to control movement, camera, plus the dodge/dash and grenades. You pretty much have to have a controller for this.

what? I would be absolutely lost if I would use a controller. I only play with MnK. As you can see in the gameplay (look at the buttons on screen).

Thumbnail say 0 to 60, proceed to a build guide, I through this was going to be a guide on ways to level up really fast on new playthroughs.

No, there isn't a 100% chance you'll get back you're throwing knife but you have alot of bullets in your pistol

@@bhabhutiji1169 what are you talking about? There is 100% chance you’ll get your throwing knife back. There’s even a perk for it to return instantly plus, you only need one throw to instant kill nearly every single enemy, while pistols will take an entire magazine unless it’s a garbage mob

@@bhabhutiji1169 not going to acknowledge that you didn’t know anything about throwing knives? I’ve used her majesty with every single pistol perk. It does not one shot everything. Only low tier enemies while in stealth.

It doesn’t even matter if pistols are better or knives are better. this build isn’t about killing everything in the fastest way possible. it is about having fun. and people can enjoy things in lots of different ways. You prefer knives? go play a knives build then.

if you only have 50 levels, then you don‘t have the expansion (Phantom Liberty) - then you should be using the guide with 50 levels
