@@coreywillard9250 nice to see younger guys in the hobby I run a Red Sea 425 xl and find it a very rewarding hobby if you put the time and patience in . It’s a shame the prices off fish and corals have gone threw the roof , was a time when we helped each over our with free frags and swapped things but afraid them days are gone nearly. Keep your updates coming . 😀.

Leave lights on and abit higher heat about 28°c for optimal bacteria growth.

Going to look good. I dont think it's an aip, but either way with it being on the glass and easy to reach you would be always be better manually removing rather than using chemical treatments

my tanks 3 months old and still getting 0.2ppm ammonia 0 nitrite 0.4 nitrate ? is this normal ? i have 2 clowns 1 shrimp 3 hermits. redsea max nano

My dad just tested his 18 month old reef tank for ammonia and has about 0.2 of it and running absolutely perfectly so from what I can tell I think that's normal

@@chrish116 u don't have 0.2 amonia dude. These over the counter test kits are not accurate like that to test 0.2. They are indicators. Your amonia is zero.
