In 2015 & 2020, two of Union Pacific's heritage locomotives visited Norfolk Southern's Dayton District. We captured both the Denver & Rio Grande Western (UP/DRGW 1989) and Missouri Pacific (UP/MP 1982) in Chautauqua, Ohio. The D&RGW was westbound on September 25, 2015 while the MP was eastbound on December 28, 2020. This section of the Dayton District parallels CSX's Toledo Subdivision between Cincinnati & Toledo, Ohio. Following the passage of NS 170 with UP 1982 we also captured CSX J782 running north with a pair of SD40-3s.
