Literally everything about this guy keeps me from taking him seriously. Abandoned his kids, does the crypto thing and even decorates himself and HIS HOME with the symbol, talks with the lilt of a Disney villain, break dances, responds to his daughter's claims with a video where he break dances... This guy is an obnoxious, goofy piece of sh-t. Good lord. I would not believe he's a real person if I didn't see it with my own two eyes.

He says he didn't abandoned them and that he just wasn't living under the same roof... okay but did he visit his kids? Did he have them visit him? Did he call them? Did he actively try to take part in their lives while they were growing up? If the answer to most of these are no then he definitely did abandoned them just to pursue his own career. And him just being financial is like the basics of having kids, doesnt mean he's still not a deadbeat or etc.

Mixed feelings on this. But both Father and daughter have the same annoying toxic energy thinly veiled with comedy. She took it public and he was attacked as planned. I think given that he's entitled to respond publicly. I don't care how accurate the 5 millon is, if it's half that he still financially supported his kids. In the same breath she clearly feels abandoned and money is no substitute for a parent, he should take that very seriously. His weak segue into a breakdance ending was beyond cringe, and smacks of self importance... it gave I strong clue as to why she feels abandoned.

I don't know, man, the comments here be wildin'. SHE talked about him first and to think that people would NOT go to his social media to hate on him is naive at best. He is a very minor public figure, and has the right to defend himself against baseless accusations that were a result of his daughter talking about him without keeping his identity hidden. His daughter is also an adult now, not a child to be coddled. In the end we don't know what went on behind the scenes. Fathers are too often shamed for "abandoning" their children, when they are actually secretly threatened and harrassed by the mothers for leaving their toxic marriage - I come from such a family. On top of that my mother also told lies about my dad and that made me resent him for a long time. It is possible of course the dad here did not give a fuck about his daughter, but it's jsut as likely that hte mother discouraged or manipulated any kind of contact. Both of these people are adults, and neither went about speaking about this situation in a way you'd expect from adult family members, but the dad is NOT in the wrong for defending himself publicly when he gets public hate comments on his profiles.

Michael Knowles actually lambasted the dad recently. He said that the man prioritized chasing money and chasing tail over actually being there to raise his daughter. Paying bills doesn't remove you from the deadbeat category, as money is only a fraction of what a child needs to be well adjusted. They need both parents to be emotionally there for them, divorced or not. You can't just throw money at them and call that 'good enough.'

A child should never have to build the bridge to connect to a parent. The parent should have already built it, and traveled it to the child continuously. Children do not ask to be here. As parents, it is our responsibility to make them feel like they are supposed to be and are loved and wanted. No amount of money will ever replace human connection, especially that of a child and parent, and just because they're doing well now, doesn't mean they deserved to emotionally struggle to get to that place.

He abandoned his family to Pursue an amateur breakdancing career? I think that’s really all that needs to be said. Honestly, as a kid who had a very tumultuous divorce happen during my formative years, it’s totally possible that both parents are a piece of work. It kind of seems to me like the whole family is? I don’t know. I wouldn’t be airing this dirty laundry on the Internet but also I’m a jerk who’s watching it😂 but I did just become a parent almost 2 years ago so I can say that it seems absolutely bizarre to me to not be aware that your children feel this way and feel blindsided as he seemed to act. But then again, my dad had no idea why didn’t speak to him for years lol so I can see all angles of the situation being true. Also, it was the way he listed off his children’s accomplishments as if he was responsible that got me. Go off b boy daddy😂

I feel like people are projecting a lot on this guy. I mean, don't act like his daughter accused him when she was actually talking about the weirdness of what amounted to her childhood trauma being so strongly celebrated online. She used him as an example and probably didn't verify that he really didn't pay medical bills because this wasn't meant to be the point. She may have a great relationship with him today - she didn't say otherwise. And he didn't accuse her of lying but only felt it important to tell his online accusers how much he really financially contributed - which is understandable. Especially if money was all he really contributed, then it would be important for him that people know that he did at least that well. And both stories don't really clash except for that one detail about payments she may have been misinformed about. Besides that, she says his leaving was traumatic to her and he says that he tried to soften the blow to his best ability. Both can be true at the same time. Real events are more complex than the jokes we weave based on them. And that's actually the point: Being abandoned by one's father is traumatic but it's also common and doesn't really catch people's interest. If some detail makes it funny, people care but treat it like there's no darkness behind the joke. What really happened and the pain that the real story included, it's either fully ignored or if it has some special gimmick turned into a joke - but those jokes aren't really funny. Still, we laugh like it's a punchline when she adds after speaking about her dad abandoning her that he went on to become a very old but famous breakdancer. There is a lot of depth in that statement. It holds up a mirror and shows people something about themselves they dislike - so they project that on the assumed deadbeat dad and him defending his reputation only creates more distrust towards him. Because if he isn't the bad guy, only the audience remains as potential bad guys. One could argue that laughing about the childhood trauma of this woman and her three siblings only because there is some absurd novelty to the details of the traumatizing events does make us bad guys. And if we accept that the dad is not evil but that evil dwells inside our own hearts, well, it's not pleasant and most people therefore try to avoid it.

I feel like both of their videos are very sincere. The daughter is obviously pissed off, and the dad feels like he’s been lied on. I think with that knowledge, the mom is the instigator. He says he was 70% at fault for the divorce, so the mom could have been mad enough at him that she was willing to exaggerate things to the daughter. As far as them both coming online and making videos? That’s just thirst for attention and feeding into their cortisol levels 🤣

also near the end of the actual saga, he made another response video and a good 90% of it was "the woke therapists and teacher and teaching girls to hate men! they have all this mental health crap in their head! this woke feminist agenda is ruining us! see teenage girls will be dramatic and rude, but teenage boys are chill!" most of these are things he actually said at the top of my head, so.. insantly don't take this man serious at all if he's gonna derail so badly and get off topic to spew this kinda stuff.

More like the generation of today is glorifying the culture of putting everything on social media instead of resolving personal matters in PRIVATE. Look at the Shapiros, and the Mcbrooms, they made a grifty fortune exploiting their family model.

Oldest brother got a degree in pshychology... I can see why! This guy has a lot of narcissistic tendencies. He probably wants to find out what's up with dad's behaviour, and also help others with parents etc. like him. Also, being narcissistic and having NPD is two different things. Calling him narcissistic is not diagnosing him. Just like everyone can experience anxiety and say they're anxious, without having an actual anxiety disorder. 😅 The fact that he shows of his break dancing in a video like thus says everything, tbh.

please stop spreading this. saying "narcissistic" still attributes to NPD. narcissists are literally people with NPD, thats why the word is "narcissist" and the disorder is called "narcissistic personality disorder." using the word in this way already spreads it in the same line as NPD which is already a SEVERELY DEMONIZED disorder that makes us hate our existence more than we already do. Yes, you can say "anxious" because that is an emotion and isnt inherently a disorder unless its severe. this doesnt work for the word narcissist/narcissistic. That is like if i called someone autistic but they didnt have autism, or a better more sensible example, if i said "you're so borderline, oh but not the disorder!" I'm not trying to be rude or come off that way, I'm just begging you to please use a different word. Egotistical, manipulative, selfish, whatever. as someone with very heavy BPD that comes with NPD traits who needs to go and see if those traits might actually just be the full thing, it's really heartbreaking and aggrevating when i see people use that word in a demonizing light, as it makes it already VERY hard for us to be seen as humans or even GET HELP since this kind of language is used in even most therapy/psychiatric spaces where they shouldnt be because of how hurtful and unprofessional it is. this kinda idea is already EVERYWHERE and it does nothing good. please just use a different word..

Is it possible that he made the response because he went to his daughter and said what is this take it down and she refused because it was making her a lot of money or getting her a lot of clout? We don't know anything about the dad but we also don't know anything about the daughter. Just as much as you want to claim he could be seeking attention, you can say the same thing about her.
