Being an English teacher in China, I’ve seen kids say “I love you” to their parents and their parents look at them like they have a disease. But like you said, they show their love through actions. I’m mixed. I like hearing that I love and seeing actions.

I don't. It's too broad and too narrow at the same time and there's so many kinds. 😅 I just accept it as best I can and give as much as I can.

This is such an enlightening perspective that I really enjoyed learning about. I do believe that actions have a lot of meaning behind them. And people do throw "I love you" around far too much and the actions don't add up behind it. I have become more and more grateful for the people that are in my life and I only say I love you when I really, really mean it.

Like you , my parents never said “I love you “, but they showed it through the things they did. A place to live, with heat and running water, cabinets full of food, clothes, glasses,etc. so I get it. It would have been nice to hear it though before they passed away. Now it’s too late. So be sure to tell the ones you love how you feel. Great video !

I realized over the years that actions speak louder than words. I make sure the people around me know that I love them with acts of service and quality time. However if someones having a bad day, an I love you can go a long way as well. I think it can be problematic when those words are used loosely without action or feeling behind them. I love hearing your perspective on these things.

yea~ in asian culture, people dont express their love by words but through actions. and asian people seldom say "i love you" to their close relatives. 2:42~3:30 Aww~😢

それこそ「愛」って感じがしますね！でも愛があるからこそ相手に過度に期待をしてしまい、無条件が条件付きになってしまったりすることも当然あると思います。しかし、そういった人間の弱い部分もなんだか素敵だし、更に弱さを理解して何かを変えようと努力する人達は尊敬できる方々だなと思います！

If you believe in Jesus you will not die but live eternal everlasting life. That's why God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. This is true love - to give your life for your friends, as Jesus did on the cross. God bless you ❤
